Simone Manuel made history becoming the first African American to win a gold medal in an individual swimming competition. More importantly, she used her well-earned spotlight to speak to the number one priority in the world, Racism. To coroberate her point, the Department of Justice authored yet another damning assessment of a United States police department; the DOJ specified how Freddie Gray's Baltimore Police terrorize and molest black citizens of Maryland. And since Whites don't need a badge or license to violate black people, Kouren-Rodney Bernard Thomas, 20, was branded a gun-toting hoodlum, shot and killed in North Carolina. Chad Copley has been arrested and charged with Thomas' murder. Speaking of White killers, the black inmate who allegedly attacked Dylann Roof, the terrorist who killed 9 at Mother Emanuel AME, received enough donations to secure his release from prison. The Context of White Supremacy hosts the 5th study session on Randy Roberts' and Johnny Smith's 2016 offering, Blood Brothers: The Fatal Friendship Between Muhammad Ali and Malcolm X. The book hit stores months before the passing of Ali. Roberts and Smith, both Racist Suspects, deconstruct the genesis and dissolution of Ali and Minister Malcolm's relationship and how their friendship degenerated as Minister Malcolm's exile from Elijah Muhammad and the Nation of Islam finalized. Unfortunately, Ali was unable to reconcile things with Malcolm before his 1965 assassination. Last week's session again stressed the massive surveillance targeting Minister Malcolm and the Nation of Islam. The White authors continue to describe Cassius Clay as a master deceiver. The text also revealed how Clay's White handlers became increasingly troubled about his contact with the NOI. Well before Clay became heavyweight champion, he echoed the teachings of Elijah Muhammad and Minister Malcolm X. While Jackie Robinson and other celebrities proudly endorsed the NAACP and the 1963 March on Washington, Clay (and Malcolm X) ridiculed the organization, the tactic of non-violence, and the "Farce On Washington" for being manipulated by Whites and an inadequate solution to White Supremacy. Antoinette Harrell visits The Context of White Supremacy. A Genealogist, Historian, Peonage Researcher and author, Ms. Harrell has dedicated years researching how hundreds of thousands of black people remained formally enslaved for decades following the Civil War. She's investigated thousands of peonage records to demonstrate how Whites maintained domination over allegedly emancipated black people. We'll review her 2013 book, Dark Days of Horror at Dozier: Rapes, Murders, Beatings & Slavery. The text chronicles decades of barbaric, sadistic brutalization of black boys in a Florida reform school. The now deffunct Dozier school received a immense of attention in recent years. There's a new documentary and continued exhumations have unearthed human remains and further evidence of the inhumanity reserved exclusively for black children. Sue Africa visits The Context of White Supremacy. One of the few White members of MOVE, Sue Africa has dedicated years of time and energy in the Philadelphia black liberation collective. Sue Africa was a part of the MOVE organization at the time of the 1985 bombing of group's residence. However, she was in prison at the time of the massacre. Her son, Tomaso Africa, was one the eleven fatalities. We're eager to hear her views on Ramona Africa's conclusion that Sue Africa has suffered more or as much as any black member of MOVE. We'll hear about Mumia Abu-Jamal's interview of her and what other White people thought of her involvement with the philosophy of John Africa. However, this was not a time of jubilee for black Brazilians, the largest black population on the planet outside of Africa. Massive numbers of discounted non-white people have been racially dislocated to make room for White recreational enjoyment. Riot police were employed to manage demonstrations during the running of the torch. Speaking of peace officers, Korryn Gaines, a 23-year-old black mother, was shot and killed in her Maryland residence this week. Her five year son was also shot. Gaines used social media to submit her perspective of the conflict, which motivated local enforcement officers to ask Facebook to disable her account. Kenneth Walker also found his homestead under siege. A New York volunteer firefighter, Walker was racially threatened days before his residence was set ablaze. A White terrorist, Matthew Jurado, has been arrested and charged for the arson. And there's no shortage of White Terrorists. Thomas Edwin Blanton Jr's parole bid was denied; Blanton was convicted for his involvement in the 1963 bombing which killed four black girls in a Birmingham, Alabama church. Paid informants, FBI agents and local police officers kept a detailed log of NOI activities and potential conflicts which could be exploited. The book also described how Ali had been keenly interested in the teachings of Elijah Muhammad and Minister Malcolm well before he owned the heavyweight championship. The authors also devoted a good bit of attention to the champion Ali (Cassius Clay) would eventually dethrone, Sonny Liston. White gangsters ruled his career and financially plundered the illiterate prizefighter. Unfortunately, Clay engaged in a sizable amount of anti-black name calling in the build-up to their brawl. This book should illustrate the monumental importance of not name-calling other black people. University of Texas (Austin) professor Dr. Martin Kevorkian returns to The C.O.W.S. to dissect the films. The author of Color Monitors, Dr. Kevorkian has written about the White Supremacy messaging in films and converesed with our audience repeatidly. We'll turn our attention to DeMonaco's science fiction juggernaut and the three installments released since 2013. The Purge depicts a dystopian future, where ruling Whites (the New Founding Fathers of America) decree that on one day each year, murder and all other crimes are legal for twelve hours. Speaking of dead black people, all charges were dropped against the six officers accused of the 2015 death of Freddie Gray. Prosecutor Marilyn Mosby maintains that the lack of convictions do not exonerate the Baltimore Police Department. The summer of violence and ongoing black death became so extreme it compelled NBA legend Michael Jordan to respond publicly about Racism - many were unamused. Ramona Africa visits The Context of White Supremacy. With decades invested in the effort to counter-racism, Ramona Africa is a veteran member of the MOVE organization. This Philadelphia, Pennsylvania collective worked diligently to combat police terrorism, corruption, pollution and the general war on black people. In 1985, local government officials decided to detonate an incendiary devise that burned down the MOVE house and killed eleven people including children. The blaze ultimately destroyed the entire neighborhood of over 60 black-owned houses. Several MOVE members remain incarcerated to this day. The alleged sniper, Gavin Long, a 29-year-old black male, was reportedly shot dead on the scene. Law enforcement bragged that it was a "hell of a shot" that extinguished Long's life. The following day, Lt. Brian Rice was found innocent in the death of Baltimore, Maryland's Freddie Gray. So far, no officers have been convicted for Gray's death. Numerous Whites are calling for prosecuting attorney Marilyn Mosby to be disbarred. As the attention on Racism and policing intensifies, Donald J. Trump was officially recognized as the Republican presidential nominee during the week-long convention in Cleveland. Trump conjured the spirit of former president Richard Nixon with a call for "Law and Order" and an end to "political correctness." Victim of White Supremacy Leslie Jones, star of the Ghostbusters remake and one of the few Saturday Night Live casts members with melanin, was savagely terrorized via social media.
