|| Oliver Wong || Faith is part of the human experience - within the unknowns and uncertainties of life, we make conclusions about whether our beliefs are true, right, and beautiful. This summer, CITYLIGHTS is reflecting on Hebrews 11 to grow in the understanding of what peace-bringing faith looks like. As our first installment, we look at Peter's faith that is challenged when Jesus asks him to step onto the waves.
|| Oliver Wong || On their way to the temple, Peter and John were interrupted by a man crippled from birth and experienced a Kingdom healing. The early apostles' lives model for us what Kingdom EXTENSION looks like. Although their lives were structered and strategic, they EXTENDED the Kingdom daily by giving space to spontaneity. In the final installment of Normal Church we reflect on the balance of structure and spontaneity in EXTENDING the Kingdom of Heaven right where we are.
|| Oliver Wong || On the day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit spoke to 3,000 people in multiple languages to communicate the love of God. By the end of the day, this crowd of foreigners had become a spiritual family. We believe that Jesus is EQUIPPING His church to EXALT Him and EXTEND His Kingdom through normal, everday people, gathered as family. Listen in as we discuss what it means for a family to EQUIP His church.

|| Oliver Wong || The Hebrew name, Nehemiah, actually means "comfort". In 445 BC, Nehemiah rallied the people of Israel to rebuild the city wall surrounding Jerusalem. In many ways, Nehemiah's role in rebuilding this city reflects the Holy Spirit's comforting and building in our lives. This message focuses specifically on how the Holy Spirit comforts us when we are broken, yet builds us within our mourning.

|| Chris Armfield, Oliver Wong and Timothy Bayne || What would a culture where we people are evaluated properly look and sound like - a culture of honor.
|| Chris Armfield || Pioneer is one who goes before others to secure territory so that others can enter and extend heaven within it. Jesus is the ultimate pioneer for humanity.
|| Chris Armfield || Though Jesus publicly wept only twice, those two moments reveal the true heart of God for individual people and entire nations.
|| Oliver Wong || Jesus' prayer for the church in this passage is nothing less than radical; that all beilevers would be ONE just as the Trinity is ONE. 2,000 years later, the practice of Acts 2, "everyting in common" type unity, seems impossible in an era of individualism and division. This week in our study of John, we confront the vital question: how can we be and become one?
|| Rich Hodge || Join us as guest speaker, Rich Hodge, shares the Father's Heart for His children.
|| Oliver Wong || What do you think of when you hear the words "God" and "Father"? Jesus' purpose on earth was to reveal God as a Father. Do you see God as Father? Listen in as we celebrate the power of Jesus to lead us into becoming our Father's children again.
|| Chris Armfield || The Holy Spirit undeceives us, reveals who and whose we are, and restores our relationship with the Holy Trinity.
|| Chris Armfield || Did you know that the statement, "God helps those who help themselves" isn't in the Bible and isn't biblically true. If so, what does God help people with and how?
|| Oliver Wong || How do you respond when others oppose your beliefs and faith? Jesus says we will need the Spirit of Truth to give us perspective in persecution. Learn how the Helper empowers you to respond to the Spirit of Truth and love even in conflict.
