Dave and Jeff are at it again with a whole lot of laughs, a variety of segments, and a bunch of Nazi's. There seems to be a little bit of everything in this episode and it's dedicated [almost] 100% to Advanced Squad Leader. Join us as we open with the song, Hello Rally! -- an incomparable masterpiece of genius and art -- featuring crazy lyrics contributed by a listener. That's followed with
Just as you were starting to get bored with Dave and Jeff, we shake it up a bit and present Dave and his sons, Adam and Aaron. Before you panic, have a listen and give these co-hosts a try. After Aaron and Dave share some fascinating letters, we have a little ditty for you from Sgt. Schmutz and the Half-Squad singer. It's a great rendition of Ring of Fire. Then Dave and his son Adam bring you
Sadly, we say farewell to an Advanced Squad Leader legend, Bill "Fish" Conner, who, along with Daryl Burke, was responsible for starting the ASLOK tournament. We hardly knew him, yet still feel the loss. As for the rest of the episode, shoot a Starshell into the air so you can see clearly. Gunflashes be darned! We are going to fire from the hip and bring you the long awaited final installment
It is not Night Part 2. It is a sad, sad, day. Jeff has been called into work on the night we are scheduled to record Episode 62, and Dave is faced with a difficult decision. Should he wait to record with Jeff, or carry on, at the risk of producing a rather boring show? Dave has chosen (maybe unwisely) to forge ahead on his own. This very episode is the result of that decision. On the plus side,

Don't stray too far from this podcast, because it is time for Night Part 2, and we couldn't get all of the night rules into this episode, as much as we tried, which means that you can expect Night Part 3, sometime soon. AFV Logic Card w/Overlay You may be all jittery and wondering what other ASL info consumed the time allotted to this podcast, besides discovering who is lax at night. Well,
After listening to this episode you will no longer have to be afraid of the dark. We venture into the night to light the way for our listeners. This is the first of a two part series on the Night rules, found in chapter E, that made their first appearance way back with the original release of Yanks. We infiltrate the first half of the rules and then present a History Report on the various WWII

Sufferin' succotash! Sometimes we sit down at the microphones without really knowing how the session will unfold. Oh. . . you've noticed that? This one gets a little looney. Jeff starts with a report on his visit to The National Churchill Museum in Fulton, MO. Great horny toads, what a surprising and delightful find there in America's heartland. It was at Westminster College in Fulton that
We were greatly saddened to hear of the passing of Ian Daglish. While we had never had the honor to meet him face to face, we consider ourselves lucky to have conducted an interview with him a few days before the tragic accident that took his life. Ian was a World War II historian who specialized in the Normandy Campaign and authored several books on the topic in the Over The Battlefield series

August was a busy month for us, especially with a fun-packed, four-day excursion to Indianapolis for GenCon. But we were still able to record a couple of fantastic T2HS (The 2 Half-Squads) episodes — the first of which we offer here for your approval. In “Get Movin’!” we continue our series covering, in detail, the phases of the game. And if you can’t guess which phase is covered this time you should go back to playing “Chutes ‘n Ladders”. There’s a lot to cover, but we still carve out some time for listener mail, a quick movie review, and some other goodies. You’re going to like this episode. How can we be so sure? . . . because it’s ASL. What's not to like? Listen Now: To download this episode, right click here and select to save the file.
