I've Got a Beatles Podcast!

Ever heard some of the original songs the Beatles covered?  Have you ever heard of singers like Little Willie Littlefield, Dr. Feelgood, and Larry Williams?  If not, check out the latest episode where we play and discuss the original versions of songs that the Beatles later covered.  We will also look at solo covers in a future episode.(apologies for the sound quality in the first part of the episode)

We present the first episode in an occasional series we'll call "Apple Scruffs," in which we look at some of the artists the Beatles signed to their record label, Apple.  In this inaugural episode, we look at the music and career of the most successful group (besides the Beatles) signed to Apple, Badfinger.  Their story reads like a Shakespeare tragedy, but along the way features some great music and intimate Beatles connections.  If you've seen the final episode of "Breaking Bad," or listened to classic rock radio, you've heard plenty of Badfinger.

Lots of mixed reactions on this, but as always, we have a good time talking about the album and you'll hear Chris do some hilarious imitations of the dated instruments on some of the tracks.
