We’re looking at Doom Patrol #2 by John Byrne. And in that issue, the team fights vampires again… for the eighth issue in a row. But don’t worry. They team up with the JLA and finally learn who is the World’s Greatest Detective. Hint… it ain’t Batman.

It’s a religious war and the Doom Patrol is caught in the middle! We’re looking at Doom Patrol #38.

We’re going back to the beginning and looking at Doom Patrol #1. Nope. Not that number one. The other one. Not that one either… the one that no one talks about. John Byrne’s Doom Patrol! We do a quick review of the JLA arc that started it off and then dive right into the first issue.

Whatever happened to Rhea Jones? Scott and Murray are digging into the latest issue of Doom Patrol (well, “latest” issue being a relative term, unless you’re still living in 1990) to get the scoop on Rhea.

We’re looking at Batman: The Brave and the Bold #7. It’s an issue based on the animated series starring Batman (of course) and the Doom Patrol (also, of course!). And it’s super fun all ages reading. Enjoy!

We’re looking at Doom Patrol #36… we get to hang out with Danny the Street, say goodbye to the men from N.O.W.H.E.R.E. (for now) and say hello to Flex Mentallo! All this, and Rhea finally wakes up.

We’re looking at Doom Patrol #35 and we get to meet the newest member of the team… Danny the Street! Best New Character of 1990!

Sob!  Choke!  It’s the end of an era as the Silver Age Doom Patrol meets disaster!  Come listen as Scott and Murray review the last story of the Doom Patrol (and then chit chat about whatever happened to the Brain and Mallah).

It’s a love story for the ages… Monsieur Mallah and the Brain!  In Doom Patrol #34.

We’re looking at Doom Patrol #120… the penultimate issue of the series. And it’s a bit of a breather issue… a break from the ongoing storyline of the Brotherhood of Evil which lets us see the Doom Patrol in action against… the Wrecker! In space! Cliff gets to try on a whole bunch of different looks, while Rita and Mento go on a double date with Beast Boy and his girlfriend to the local discoteque. Hilarity ensues.

It’s a two for one deal this week. We finish off the look at the Robotman feature in My Greatest Adventure #6 and then take a peek at Teen Titans Go #28 which is guest starring the Doom Patrol!

It’s time to look at Doom Patrol #33 by Morrison and Case.  It’s the wrap up to the story with the Decreator.  We’ve got crazy, angry puppets, snowglobes and DP sidekick Kipling making snarky comments throughout.

We’re looking at Doom Patrol #119 where the Doom Patrol become the “victims of the Mind Stealer”! It’s a very special issue of Doom Patrol as they learn about the dangers of cults!

We’re looking at Doom Patrol #32. It’s got anagrams, drunk commentators and finger print faces. And the Doom Patrol. They’re there, too. We have a small discussion about the ways that Morrison’s Doom Patrol continues to build on what Arnold Drake established and speculate on how we might see the Doom Patrol in the new DCU.

We’re taking a look at the new secret origin of Cliff Steele as depicted in My Greatest Adventure # 4 & 5. All that, plus some listener feedback! Cool beans!
