It wasn't a bad day for the Los Angeles Chargers, it was pretty much a disaster, as your host called it an "Electrical Fire". After a pretty tight first half, Phillip Rivers started turning the ball over at a reckless pace, along with Melvin Gordon III fumbling multiple times as well. The Minnesota Vikings' four game quest to 12-4 is now one fourth of the way there, with a not so interesting 20-7 victory over the depleted and defeated Detroit Lions. The Purple defense looked much better, as Danielle Hunter got three sacks, and a shutout was intact until the final few minutes, but this felt more like a preseason game if anything. In a game that looked horrendous, and reminiscent of last season's debacle versus the Buffalo Bills in US Bank Stadium, to our great surprise things changed dramatically in the second half. After a disappointing game last week, the Kubiak and Stefanski combo came up with a near perfect offensive game plan against a stingy and aggressive Dallas defense. The Minnesota Vikings remain win-less historically in Arrowhead Stadium, as yet another backup quarterback was able to make the once great Vikings' cornerbacks look as bad as ever.
