Tom Brady with the excellent Buccaneers offense and defense pretty much dominated Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LV. Brady was outstanding, particularly in the first half, to help the Bucs build a big lead, while the powerful Tampa defense took care of business after that, versus a depleted Chiefs offensive line. The Kansas City Chiefs are back in the Super Bowl, with a fairly one sided win over Buffalo, while Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers took care of business in Lambeau, despite Mike Evans nearly gave it all away. The Vikings defense has been so depleted of key players, it's no wonder they can't stop the run during this lost year. Cousins was solid in the game, but once again couldn't get the pass protection when needed most. Dan Bailey was the first kicker to miss all four kicks in one game since 1961, he's a huge reason why the Vikings lost, but certainly not the only reason. In a game that was filled with ups and downs for both sides, the much maligned Chad Beebe had a moment that would have crushed many a reserve player. When Beebe fumbled the punt with only 2:18 remaining in the game, it looked like all was lost and I was calling for Beebe's head. We just knew there would be a letdown at some point, and here it was. Kris Boyd made the kind of mistakes that often get players cut in the preseason. Purple Mafia Episode 328: This game had a few very rare things occur, the Vikings winning on Monday night, a win in Chicago, and Kirk Cousins finally winning his first EVER Monday game, at age 32. Dalvin Cook continued where he left off in Green Bay, with a 206 yard effort on the ground, not including 46 yards receiving to boot. Dalvin Cook returned the Vikings line-up, and got right down to business. Cook went on the be the first Minnesota Viking to have a combined four touchdowns in a game since Ahmad Rashad in 1979!
