DJ Juan Data came back from New York City after his LAMC week and brought back a bag full of new music and gossip.

 Flea Market Finds-Episode 33 (feat. Mex-Tape) | File Type: audio/mp4 | Duration: 3666

After a couple of weeks of podcasting silence the Fleamarketeer crew is back--minus our hostess Eva. Mex-Tape came to visit and brought with him some of the ñu-cumbia tracks he's been doing with Turbo Sonidero Futurístico, from his hometown San Jose, CA. Mexican weddings and quinceañeras were discussed along with the archaic distribution system of the old entertainment industry in the new globalized world and plenty other nonsense, as usual. Music by Nortec, Omegaman and obviously Turbo-Mex.

 Flea Market Finds-Episode 32 (feat. DJ Leydis) | File Type: audio/mp4 | Duration: 4436

It's Leydis Night at the Flea Market Studios with recurring guest DJ Leydis (from Cuba) in the house talking about the upcoming Danay Suárez show in Oakland, Ca. All music by female artists including new tracks by Natalia Clavier, Xenia Rubinos and María Del Pilar, plus an overdose of Danay and some juicy gossip on Cuban hip-hop, history, politics and more.

 Flea Market Finds-Episode 31 (feat. Fausto Souza) | File Type: audio/mp4 | Duration: 4069

Brazilian DJ Fausto Souza came to the Flea Market to drink some Mexican beers and shots of mezcal and discuss Carnaval traditions, Angelina Jolie boobs, sitting on cats, and share anecdotes about DJing with our host DJ Juan Data in San Francisco's nightlife.

 Flea Market Finds-Episode 30 | File Type: audio/mp4 | Duration: 4472

And we reach our thirtieth episode! The three fleamarketeers meet on Taco Tuesdays to have some beers and troca lonchera tacos while they discusss their usual nonsense and listen to some funky tunes.

 Flea Market Finds-Episode 29 (sans Pedro) | File Type: audio/mp4 | Duration: 3522

Unable to record at Pedro's home studio, Flemarketeers Eva and Juan decided to improvise a mini studio in Juan's crammed office/balcony and record a sober show. Amid plenty technical accidents and missing the Juan's phallic-centric stories and Pedro's sexy dance moves, Episode 29th will go down as one of our most chill episodes ever. As usual, a lot of nonsense was spoken, while music by the likes of Mexican Dubwiser, Hache St and La Candelaria was played.

 Flea Market Finds-Episode 28 (The Official One) | File Type: audio/mp4 | Duration: 3992

We recorded the original episode 28th on Eva's Birthday under the influence of edibles, champagne and micheladas. The morning after, she called hang-over requesting we didn't make it public. So we recorded episode 28 again and tried our best to make it a little less embarrassing.

 Flea Market Finds-Episode 27 (feat. DJ Julicio) | File Type: audio/mp4 | Duration: 3982

This week Chile's DJ Julicio came to the Flea Market studio to talk turntablism, beat production, DJing at parties vs scratching for famous rappers and share anecdotes of the South American hip-hop scene with our resident hip-hop journalist DJ Juan Data. Eva was out sick so it's only boys doing the talk. Music by Bang Data, Guanaco, Jimmy Fernández and DJ Julicio himself.

 Flea Market Finds-Episode 26 (Twins and Peaks) | File Type: audio/mp4 | Duration: 3452

Just another trainwreck of a podcast with the Flea Market three talking random nonsense and listening to old cumbia 45s.

 Flea Market Finds-Episode 25 (The Nip-Slip Conspiracy) | File Type: audio/mp4 | Duration: 3985

Eva and Pedro are back from Mexico's Vive Latino festival and they bring back a ton of music, anecdotes, adventures and accidental exposure of body parts. Meanwhile a noticeably drunken Juan tries to figure out whatever happened with the sacred tradition of Chichis Pa' La Banda. Eventually the studio gets invaded by four four-legged intruders and a bunch of other people. Just another crazy afternoon at the Flea Market. Music by Los Punsetes, Bomba Estéreo, Max Capote and Alex Anwandter.

 Flea Market Finds-Episode 24 (feat. Gabriel Navía) | File Type: audio/mp4 | Duration: 3697

Eva and Pedro went to Vive Latino in Mexico, so DJ Juan Data went to visit his old neighborhood, North Beach, SF, were he met with Gabriel Navía, Bolivian guitar virtuoso who shared credits on two tracks of Bondi Blaster's EP. Gabriel recently participated in the recording of a Latin Grammy nominated album and attended the awards ceremony so he shares some gossip. We also talked about Bolivia, it's culture, music, buses and carnaval traditions, plus some soft-core anecdotes involving girls in thongs climbing poles. Music by Bondi Blaster, Héctor Guerra and Miss Bolivia.

Flea Market Finds-Episode 23 (Ready for Vive Latino?) | File Type: audio/mp4 | Duration: 4422

Kumbia Queers' Ali Gua Gua, a.k.a. DJ Guaguis is gonna play this weekend at Vive Latino, the music festival in Mexico DF. She opens and closes this special episode of Flea Market Find in which Eva and Pedro are getting ready for their trip back to their homeland to attend said festival. DJ Juan Data, who stayed in the Bay to hold the fort, broight a bunch of vinyl records from his personal collection of artists included in the festival's line-up. Almost no penis jokes in this music-centric 23rd episode of our Spanglish podcast.

 Flea Market Finds-Episode 22 (San Cha's Revenge) | File Type: audio/mp4 | Duration: 4488

The sequel to last week's show. If you were offended by the language or the decadent content of episode 21, don't even dare listening to this one. Probably the most chaotic, obnoxious, disturbing and cock-centric show ever recorded in the history of Spanglish podcasting. Still, lots of fun for the most adventurous listeners. New music by Chicha Libre, Bajofondo, Orquesta El Macabeo and San Cha herself, who amid the drunkenness and the surrounding mess managed to give a decent acoustic live performance with her boy toy playing instruments found on the bathroom floor. Flea Market Finds at its worst, can also be at its best, depending on your level of intoxication or horniness.

 Flea Market Finds-Episode 21 (feat. San Cha) | File Type: audio/mp4 | Duration: 3907

We invited underground queer diva San Cha to the Flea Market studio and she showed up with an entourage, full with the mandatory androgynous bi-racial back-up singing boy-toy. A noticeably gear switch for the show in matters of music styles but not so much in topics, since the guests amped up the levels of degenerate talk that our listeners are used to. No rare vinyl this time but some exclusive live acoustic performances and plenty of alcohol since we turned 21! Join the celebration, (homophobes are not welcomed).

Flea Market Finds-Episode Veinte (feat. Marcos Juárez) | File Type: audio/mp4 | Duration: 3681

The sequel to last week's podcast with our guest Marcos Juárez. This time however, our host DJ Juan Data selects most of the records from his recent vinyl purchases. As the beers keep going through our systems the conversation goes deeper into the darkest corners of our perverted imaginations. We started by discussing Nacional Records vinyl pressing policy, we ended up talking musically-infused religious experiences, tripping on ayahuasca in the Peruvian jungle, the sideboob of Bomba Estereo's Li Saumet and scoring with identical twin sisters. All that, while keeping with the theme of digging for rare Latin music.
