Tonight our panel will discuss the years 1960-1970.All callers are welcome 2nd hour-Why Obama should not seek re-election-His approval rating is at its lowest level ever. His party just lost two House elections — one in a district it had held for 88 consecutive years. He's staked his future on the jobs bill, which most Americans don't think would work.The vultures are starting to circle. Former White House spokesman Bill Burton said that unless Obama can rally the Democratic base, which is disillusioned with him, "it's going to be impossible for the president to win." Democratic consultant James Carville had one word of advice for Obama: "Panic."

Israel has boosted its army presence in the West Bank ahead of a Palestinian recourse to the UN amid fears they may resort to the International Criminal Court over Jewish settlements, reports said on Friday. Public radio reported the build-up and the daily Yediot Aharonot said three battalions of reservists -- some 1,500 personnel -- have been mobilised and units already in the occupied territory have been reinforced. The move comes ahead of expected Palestinian demonstrations as their statehood bid looms at the United Nations on September 23, public radio said

 The top commander of U.S. special operations forces said that Usama bin Laden's Al Qaeda is bloodied and "nearing its end," but he warned the next generation of militants could keep special operations fighting for a decade to come. Olson said the group had already lost steam because of the revolts of the Arab Spring, which proved the Muslim world did not need Al Qaeda to bring down governments, from Tunisia to Egypt. Barack Obama has declared that “immigration reform is an economic imperative“, and is promising to do his best to get an immigration bill pushed through Congress this year.  But will “legalizing” all of the illegal immigration that has taken place over the last several decades improve the struggling U.S. economy or will it actually make our economic problems worse?  One of the favorite tricks of top politicians is to promise that the economy is going to improve if we just support what it is that they are currently pushing.  Hopefully the Americans people will not buy the nonsense that Obama is spewing.  The truth is that Barack Obama is wrong about the economic impact of illegal immigration.  Illegal immigrants don’t do jobs that Americans “don’t want” to do.  A million Americans recently showed up to apply for a job at McDonald’s.  That is how desperate Americans are for work these days.  Please don’t try to tell me that there aren’t millions of Americans out there that would not pick fruit for minimum wage.  The millions upon millions of illegal immigrants in this country are stealing jobs, they are depressing wages in a whole host of industries and they are a huge factor in the erosion of the middle class.  Millions of middle class American families can’t afford to provide for their families anymore and are losing their homes, drowning in debt or going bankrupt.  Rather than what Barack Obama is proposing (which is to essentially “legalize” illegal immigration), we need an immigration policy that makes sense and that protects American jobs.So Join us in the dicussuion tonight on Conservative Primetime

FYI During this deep recession, 1) Exxon Mobil made $19 billion in profits in 2009. Exxon not only paid no federal income taxes, it actually received a $156 million rebate from the IRS, according to its SEC filings. 2) Bank of America received a $1.9 billion tax refund from the IRS last year, although it made $4.4 billion in profits and received a bailout from the Federal Reserve and the Treasury Department of nearly $1 trillion 3) Over the past five years, while General Electric made $26 billion in profits in the United States, it received a $4.1 billion refund from the IRS. 4) Chevron received a $19 million refund from the IRS last year after it made $10 billion in profits in 2009.   5) Boeing, which received a $30 billion contract from the Pentagon to build 179 airborne tankers, got a $124 million refund from the IRS last year.   6) Valero Energy, the 25th largest company in America w/ $68 billion in sales last year got a $157 million tax refund check from the IRS & over the past three years, it received a $134 million tax break from the oil and gas manufacturing tax deduction.   7) Goldman Sachs in 2008 only paid 1.1 percent of its income in taxes while earning a profit of $2.3 billion & received an almost $800 billion from the Federal Reserve & U.S. Treasury Department.   8) Citigroup last year made more than $4 billion in profits but paid no federal income taxes.
