"Ghandhiism" was the dominant force throughout the independence movement but it was not the only force or voice in the struggle for Indian independence. In this episode we look at a collection of characters within the Indian independence movement, some who were pro and some who where anti-Gandhi. This is not an exhaustive look at the founding fathers of India but rather an overview of powerful figures and influential voices leading up to independence.
Would Gandhi have been successful in the world we live in today? This episode takes a non traditional approach to look at the life and person of Gandhi and his impact on the Indian independence movement. Gandhi was a man who helped shape modern India but he was also a man far more complex than most of us are familiar with.
