The past couple weeks social media has been going crazy over one particular overbearing mama. Kandi's (Xscape, Real Housewives of ATL) mother "Mama Joyce" has no problem being vocal about her disapproval of Kandi's choice is a future husband. We've watch Mama Joyce lie on her granddaughter (accusing her of not liking Kandi's fiancee), disrespect Kandi's fiancee by insulting him and the ring her brought for her daughter, and lastly disrespect Kandi's best friend by accusing her of being a whore & actually trying to fight her.    Fans of the show have been voicing their opinions like crazy because Kandi has done nothing to correct her mother's behavior. Her reasing is "That's My Mama, I'm not going to disrespect my mama". Kandi's attitude resembles one of a "Mama's boy". She has this unhealthy relationship with her mother. I understand respecting your parent(s) but is it possible to respect your parents and defend yourself, your man, and your relationship?
