The guys switch to football this hour and talk about the evolution of a Seahawks fan. Tom thinks constant winning, will eventually make fans bored and they won't care again until they are knocked to the bottom and have to claw back up. Gary is at a loss.

Gary Hill in for Colin. Baseball heavy hour as the guys go over the Mariners first draft pick Alex Jackson and a look at their chances at competing for a playoff berth. With the pitching about to get stronger, it seems likely the Mariners can stick around.

It's time to talk Mariners baseball. The guys talk about the Mariners ability to adapt, featuring a story about Roenis Elias changing his delivery against the Tigers. Tom thinks Kyle Seager is a power hitter, but Colin isn't buying it, saying 30 HRs is power hitter territory. Tom also tries to convince Colin to give Jesus Montero a chance, and says (with a straight face) that he feels sorry for Montero.

The guys talk about Colin Kaepernick's new contract and how this impact's a future Wilson extension. Would you rather have Kaepernick or Wilson leading your team? Do players put too much faith in doctors? Do they have an argument about getting compensation for bodily harm?

Robert Mathis tested positive for a banned substance which he claims he took for fertility treatment. It sounds fishy. Keith Price turned some heads at the Seahawks rookie mini-camp. Tom is coming clean, saying he was wrong about Iwakuma, thinking he was a one-season wonder. He's legit. Also, any reason Brad Miller is still here? Tom and Scott listen to what McClendon has to say about him and still playing everyday. Should the Mariners think of plugging Jesus Montero in the DH slot in Corey Hart's absence?

It's time to talk Seahawks and Colin is tired of the Seahawks not filling their immediate needs in the draft. He wants a left guard, dang it! While he concedes that John Schneider and Pete Carroll know what they are doing, he's baffled by the draft picks. What's the more outrageous incident in New York Giant lore: the Plaxico Burress gun incident or Tyler Sash driving a scooter drunk and getting tased by police? Also is Michael Sam under too much pressure to perform, announcing he's gay before setting foot on an NFL field?

Is it time to send Brad Miller to Tacoma and if so who takes his place? Will Carroll of Bleacher Report breaks down the injuries to James Paxton and Taijuan Walker and thinks the Mariners did a tremendous job in getting Hisashi Iwakuma back in such a timely manner.

Tom argues that the Riley Cooper racist rant at a Kenny Chesney concert is different than Donald Sterling because Sterling holds the future of players and tenants in his apartments in his hands and Cooper only his playing career. It's been a month, is there anything that can be gleaned from the Mariners so far? Callers weigh in and one thinks once the injured starters are back, this team can be a player in the division. Colin thinks the team will be good enough once all the starters are back, to string together 3-4 good starting pitching efforts in a row on a consistent basis. Based on that, could this team be an 85-win team in wild card contention? Also, are the expectations too high on Mike Zunino as one caller contends?

The Donald Sterling situation is still a hot topic as his racist remarks will cost him the Clippers. Callers wonder if this is a slippery slope if a league doesn't agree with your views that they can take your team. Colin thinks this was a PR move so sponsors wouldn't leave the NBA. Now that the NBA has ruled against Donald Sterling and his racist comments, is it time for the NFL to crack down on the name Redskins? Was the reaction of the Golden State Warriors to forfeit the game or the fans to boycott the game too much or a great statement?
