Rachel Pollack, one of the World's foremost authorities on the Tarot cards, joins Christian and Lori for one of our Tarot Topics specials. We'll talk about how to look at the cards as a composite of the ancient and modern symbols they contain, rather than simply memorizing meanings. Rachel has published 12 books on the Tarot, including 78 Degrees of Wisdom (Thorsons, 1998), considered a modern classic and the Bible of Tarot reading. Its marriage of common sense, wide-ranging knowledge, and esoteric awareness have inspired many tens of thousands of readers worldwide to a deeper knowledge of the Tarot. "78 Degrees" has remained Christian's most recommended book on the cards for the entire 22 years he's been studying the cards so this episode will be a special treat for him as well!

In honor of the proud nation of Haiti, Christian and Lori welcome Lilith Dorsey author of the book "Voodoo and Afro-Caribbean Paganism" and the DVD "Bodies of Water-Voodoo Identity and Transformation". Lilith Dorsey has spent years studying the different Afro-Caribbean Pagan traditions of North, Central and South America: traditions that are constantly misrepresented across the board of popular culture. Explaining how the origins and practices of these West African-derived belief systems are rooted in strong traditions of feminine power and universal energy, Dorsey will demystify the Voodoo religions for our listeners. The mother of Dianic Feminist Wicca and longtime Tarot reader Z. Budapest, famous for beginning the fight to legalize Tarot readings many years ago, returns for one of our Tarot Topics specials here on HEX Education. She joins Christian and Lori for a Tarot Social, where we'll talk about the use of the cards, interpretations, Tarot archetypes, and even throw some cards for the coming year. Mulysa will be talking about her new shop in Beverly, Massachusetts, called GOOD MOJO, and its role as a sacred temple, helping to guide others in choosing the symbols and artwork that help them to discover their own sacred connection to the Gods and Spirits through ritual body modification, all performed in a consecrated space. We'll be talking about how to choose your symbols and we encourage listeners to call in for ideas on how to discover your own sacred totems and archetypes.

Starrfire Price, Webmistress of PaganSpace.net, joins Salem Witches Christian Day and Lori Bruno to talk about her fantastic site and the massive power of online networking for Witches and Pagans. Centuries ago, Witches often had to walk for miles in the dark of night, hidden under their black cloaks, to meet with their coven. These days, it's just a click away. That has its good and bad points and we'll talk about the whole spectrum, Witches' warts and all. And, as always, we feature our own brand of caustic commentary on the Witch world today, made all the more fun with Starr, who is always a blast to dish with! Witch Media expert Peg Aloi of the Witches' Voice joins Christian and Lori for a night of Witch Cinema. Discover the real magic in the movies as we talk about some of the ways that Witchcraft and magic have been woven into motion pictures. BIO Peg Aloi is one of the original founders of the Witches' Voice, at Witchvox.com, and has been the Media Coordinator since 1997. She is also a freelance film critic and media studies scholar, reviewing films for The Boston Phoenix and teaching film studies at Emerson College and the Massachusetts College of Art. She was an advisor for the second Blair Witch movie and is currently a consultant for a pagan-themed Hollywood film that will begin shooting this year. She lives in Albany, and belongs to a coven that has been based in Boston since 1969. She is an experienced aromatherapist and perfumer, as well as an accomplished performer, having sung with pagan groups MotherTongue, Urban Myth, Brigid's Brood and Epona.

High Priestess Regan, musician, singer, and the founder of the Society for the Preservation of Faerie Arts, joins Christian and Lori to talk about her sublimely magical music. We'll hear some selections from her albums Sellisternia and Faerie Archives Volume 1, both available from iTunes and Amazon.com, and talk about her inspirations, and how the mysteries of the fae folk is infused into her music, magic, and life.
