Summary: Since 2008, we have interviewed some of the best contemporary jazz artists in the business. Al Jarreau, Joe Sample, Brian Culbertson, Stanley Clarke, Gerald Albright and Boney James to name a few. We’ve introduced you to up and coming artists like keyboardist/producer extraordinaire Nicholas Cole, saxophonists BK Jackson, Adrian Burse, Vincent Ingala, and Elizabeth Mis, guitarist Sheldon Ferguson, Sweden’s keyboardist Jonathan Fritzen and more. International artists, keyboardist Wayne Brown (UK), saxophonist Otoe (Japan), saxophonist Candy Dulfer (Amsterdam, the Netherlands), guitarist Fabio Mignola (Switzerland) and Helen Rogers (UK). Maysa is one of few Smooth Jazz Artist to remain consistently on top of the Billboard’s Sales Chart. A member of Incognito since 1992, Maysa recorded her self-titled debut in 1995. Her newest cd, A Woman In Love, Maysa says is her biggest record yet. The unique stylings of solo bassist Julian Vaughn are born of a love for the smooth jazz genre. The Kansas City native takes from his historic surroundings, long known for its important contributions to jazz, and adds his youthful yet soulful style to create his debut CD entitled “The Purpose Project”.
