Darin and Robert talk about what happens in the human heart when our faith moves from believing God exists, to believing God is love and then to believing He’s your Father. Many Christians have barricaded themselves in the God is love room and have never moved on to know Him as Father. This is a part of relationship that is rarely talked about beyond people just saying “Father” when referring to God. The actual “Abba revelation” is without question, the most intimate picture of His heart for us is all the universe.

Darin and Robert talk about how the grace message does not employ “leaders” like what we are used to in organized religion. People who are on this journey do not follow after the latest evangelist and pastor who seems to know the truth. No one is being led astray because very few people are following anything other than their own hearts. When you swallow the grace and love message, you get everything you need living inside of you. The key is for each of us to trust our own heart and have confidence that so KNOW truth. It’s easier to run after a leader and have them tell you who God is but once you realize He lives within you it is imperative that you learn to trust your heart.

Darin and Aimee talk about how many of us strive to have the perfect life in order to be a good “witness for Christ.” The idea that our performance either hinders or validates the Gospel message is both unscriptural and damaging. Many people have lived in a world of shame because they don’t feel they properly represent the very message they believe in. This way of thinking leads people to disconnect and separate their hearts from others, and it encourages us to enter into a fake existence.

Darin and Aimee talk about how the truth of God has not waited for Christians to get our act together and carry it to others. The world in many ways has a deeper understanding of the truths of God than many self proclaiming Christians do today. Being connected to the “I Am” is what life is about and the moment we try to “DO,” we become instantly disconnected. Life in the Spirit is about just being. Our religion has taught us that it’s our job to expand the kingdom and further it’s purposes. That mentality is an anti-oneness mindset that makes connecting with others impossible.

Darin and Amy Ramos have a great discussion about how many of us have to learn to redefine what the presence of God really is once we leave the organized religious system. Most of us have grown up being taught that when we feel emotional and get goose bumps that means God is present. This way of thinking is spread throughout many Christian circles in America. Living in the wild can be a difficult time for many new Free Believers who feel abandoned by God because they’re unable to drum up the same emotions they got from their past group meetings. Giving up “mood theology” and believing is an essential part of finding freedom in the wild.”

So many Free Believers find themselves all alone in the revelation they’ve been given about the Heart of God. Over time it’s easy to question whether or not this loneliness in this message will ever end. People living in small towns where being a Free Believer is like being the town witch, are asking in their spirits when this will end. Is there a purpose to this alone time or will we just die having had a better revelation of the Father? Darin and Amy discuss these questions and more in this latest episode of “Into the Wild”.

Darin and Aimee talk about how Christianity has over spiritualized the subject of sex and what the repercussions of that are to the individual heart. We have linked fear with sex and the results are catastrophic. Many people are caught in a world of shame and bondage because of their perceptions of the things they’ve done. The fear of what possible damage may have been done to our spirits is way more destructive then the actual incident. It’s time we revisited this subject and brought it back down to earth.

Darin and Aimee talk about the importance of gaining revelation of people if we want to gain revelation of God. This is a radical discussion with shocking implications to us all. Darin describes the necessity for “people revelation” as being the “missing link” to Christian thinking in our generation. It is impossible to know the heart of God unless we are willing to dive into the hearts of people and know them intimately. Darin and Amy Ramos talk about the long term effect on people who are forced to live in an unnatural state for a prolonged period of time. Most of what we consider a wicked heart or sinful rebellion is nothing more than the human beings reaction to being harnessed and controlled. We live in a unique generation of Christians. Almost all that is expected of us from our religion is unreasonable and many times impossible. Recovering from what Darin calls “Circus Madness” can take a lifetime for some of us. Having to relearn how to do the very things you were created to do is what many Free Believers are doing twenty-four hours a day in the wild.

Darin and Amy Ramos bring up the topic of premarital sex and the Christian teachings that we’ve all grown up with. This is an interesting conversation where they both try to find a place of grace in the midst of a traditionally heartless topic. It’s so easy to make the principals of God into a one-size-fits-all law over all mankind without considering the individual hearts of people. They talk about the long term damage that has been done to people in regards to this subject and how the church has dealt with it. Teachings that sensationalize and embellish any one subject like sex or marriage, almost set the people up for a life full of condemnation and guilt. The subject of sex has bound thousands of good people into a world of failure and regret. You’ll enjoy this challenging discussion.

Darin and Aimee talk about how Christians have been trained to study words and sentences in the bible, but have almost no concept of the essence of the gospel story as a whole. Darin talks about how much it irritates him when he finds book reviews that suggest that “The Misunderstood God” isn’t “scriptural.” The revelation of scriptures essence only comes when a person has opened their heart to love. Unfortunately, we live in a generation where theology, grammatical context and word origins mean more to us than the heart of what’s actually being spoken and the result is the same as it was two-thousand years ago; the actual person of God can stand right in front of us and we won’t know Him from Adam. Being a Free Believer is being a person who’s interest is always in the essence of scripture rather than the theology behind it.  

Darin and Aimee talk about what holds people back from becoming their true selves and discovering all that life has to offer. The very root of most of our fears is shame. It is used against us from childhood on and it every bit as powerful as we make it. Being people of the light, it is our job to relieve people of shame. Anyone who understands this terrible bondage will naturally want to lift it off anyone in their path. The grace message does this and more.

Darin and Aimee talk about the lost meaning of the word “believe” and how our watered down version of it has stunted our spiritual growth in every area. Relationship doesn’t even begin until “believe” is authentic and the center of everything. Most Christians have been taught to spend their faith on teachings and principals, but they haven’t been encouraged to put their faith in the Person of God. Rediscovering the true power of “believe” is the very definition of relationship with the Father.

The average Christian has no idea just how much of their religious world has been laced with fear. The longer we live in the wild, the clearer it becomes that almost 100% of what we did in the church world was motivated by fear. FEAR is truly the god of this generation of Christians. Darin and Aimee discuss making the transition from the fear-world to a world motivated by grace. Things like prayer, faith, worship, hope, giving and even love have been processed like chicken nuggets in the institution and pumped full of fear, then served to the masses. For many of us, letting go of fear is very much like dispelling cancer or detoxing from heavy drugs. It’s a life or death decision.  

Darin and Aimee Dassele talk about how many single people have been conditioned to replace everything in life with God. Many of us have been made to feel that if we desire companionship with another human being, we’re doing something wrong because we haven’t found complete fulfillment in Christ. Believe it or not, there are some areas in our lives that God has specifically designed to be lived out with other people. True spirituality is not when we replace those areas with our relationship with God, but when we embrace the fact that He designed us to find fulfillment in people. Unfortunately many well meaning people have been taught that any desire we have that is not centered on God Himself is sinful. This is just plain wrong.
