Darin and Hans explore how the religious term, “The Fear of the Lord” has become something so vile that people to this very day are repulsed by their Heavenly Father. Intimacy with God is next to impossible because of how we see Him and in many cases it seems as though the very thing Christ died for has still not come to pass. Christ became the bridge between man and God in order to restore intimacy. Sadly, because of religions heavy hand and manipulatively fearful teachings, thousands of people prefer to live on the bridge rather than cross over and connect with the Father.

An Out of The Box View of You

They brought up the biggest issue a few people had with the message of \"God is love.\" People try their best to separate loving people from loving and knowing God. Several folks suggested that knowing Christ is different from knowing and loving people and unless you actually use the Name of Jesus you aren\'t actually encountering Jesus Himself. Rather than really connect with people and help them on an intimate level, many pastors just look for something biblical to preach and mindlessly rattle off a sermon so they can be done with it. Darin and Hans confront the Christian mentality that God desires us to present Him while making ourselves invisible at the same time. We are so inundated with religions self loathing teachings that many of us have forgotten that God is our Father and takes pleasure in the world not only getting a revelation of His heart but of OUR hearts as well. He truly wants people to see us shine. God is never in competition with us for the attention and adoration of others.

Love eliminates our tendency to put others above or below ourselves when we connect. Seeing each other as brothers and sisters is essential to having a real and lasting connection. Unfortunately this rarely happens in the context of worldly relationships. The love of God is the only key that can unlock our hearts and usher us into a world of equality. 

Darin and Hans talk about how several former Free Believers have come out and confessed that they are now unbelievers. The two discuss the difference between being a faithful atheist and being in transition from religions version of god to the real God. Being a hard core atheist takes as much, if not MORE faith then it does to be a Christian. Claiming to be an atheist is either a pit stop or a destination. Most people who claim to be atheist are just passing through.
