Frank then asks them to perform hernia surgery on him while the lull is on. Unfortunately, the fighting starts again and as they are performing surgery the camp gets hit with friendly fire. Inevitably, the deal falls through, much to the Hawkeye's chagrin. When the General opens it, the rules are bent to give his son access, which Hawkeye exploits to give access to all.
