Beloved as Catwoman from the 1960's Batman series, Julie Newmar first appeared as Miss Devlin on the season 4 Twilight Zone episode, "Of Late I think of Cliffordville." Pat Hingle, who played the role of Commissioner Gordon in the 1980's and 90's Batman films, made his Twilight Zone appearance in the season 4 episode, "The Incredible World of Horace Ford."

Criminals love to talk, especially to each other. And now they can do it without getting caught thanks to Arcane Wireless.  This week we are focusing on a baddie known as the See-er, a crafty business opportunist that peddles cell phones to bad guys. Not just any cellphones and not even the latest iPhone or Pixel.  No these run on the Arcane Wireless network, a network so impenetrable, so untraceable criminals for years have been using it to get away with all sorts of things. The latest criminal showing interest is human trafficking crime lord Odin Interdonato with operations all over the world.  After a few demonstrations of the tech by the See-er, Interdonato decides to use the phones exclusively.

Disney+ has just wrapped up its newest exclusive television show based in the Star Wars universe, focusing on the popular character, Boba Fett. Book of Boba Fett, regardless of your feelings on the show, brings up a lot to discuss. And that’s what brings about Blake and JJ’s episode this week. Once we get past what we’ve done Disney recently, we jump right into discussing the show, episode-by-episode. We talk about our personal thoughts on each episode, diving into the characters and story. We discussed the elements we liked and appreciated, and some elements we didn’t like and felt like should’ve been improved. Tune in to see if you agree with our thoughts, or massively disagree.

The Legacy of Supergirl for me will always be friends.  The friends that I would not have found if I hadn’t entered the superhero world. I began as many did with Arrow. Having no comic knowledge. I sought out a podcast to help understand this new world. The adventures of Oliver Queen were always a little dark for this butterfly, but I kept watching. Not as much for the show itself but for the Arrow Squad and the people it was drawing into its ranks.  Green Butterfly was technically born on the Central City Underground which celebrated The Flash. The brighter, more humorous tone suited my personality better, but I was still waiting for my hero. I had never heard of Supergirl.   I had seen a few superhero movies when I was younger, but my memories were hazy.  Almost everything I knew was coming from these new CW shows.  Then I met the Scarlet Cougar and Miss Ice. They both helped me understand the multiverse that was beginning to unfold in front of me.  

Wintertime at Disneyland brings a different experience than other times of the year and with it, advantages and disadvantages.  If you're looking for cooler weather, smaller crowds, shorter wait times, and the celebration of Lunar New Year, then visiting Disneyland in January or February is something you should consider.  However, you'll also need to be aware that the park hours are much shorter, some rides are closed for yearly maintenance, and you'll need to bring layers of clothing as the temperatures can vary quite a bit throughout the day.  Read More...
