My good friend Ryan provided some excellent advice regarding motivation and that information is in this episode. The "Expectancy Theory" of business can be applied to marathon running and I think it helped me with my motivation problem.Plus, I may have my first advertiser for the show....check out www.myracetimetracker.com and see if the app works for you!
I'm back with another action packed episode! Lots of material in this show. I worked the finish line of the Graveyard 100 ultramarathon again this year. Working an ultramarathon is a cool experience and it's different than working any other type of running event. I was not disappointed as this year the race had a new champion and new course record. http://www.graveyard100.com/GY100.htmlMusic by Garageband and the late Derek Miller's Penmachine.
I've logged weekly mileage for several years now but I think I'm due a break. I've adopted a more relaxed approach that I'm going to call "relaxed fit." It's different than a bootleg fit which is more regimented. I'll do this until I get inspired to train for a new exciting event. That and some ideas about home repair and littering in this episode.Music by Garageband and the late Derek Miller's Penmachine.http://www.psychowyco.com/id74.htmlhttp://ultrafinishers.com

My good friend Sandy Stiner ran 5 marathons in 5 states in 5 days back in September 2013. This is remarkable…and she wasn't alone! Other people do this stuff too! Listen to this episode and hear from Sandy about her experience. Also, this show includes notes from Chad Palmer's Black Canyon 100k in Arizona, a mention of a new fitness podcast and how to get involved in the Stand Up and Be Counted campaign.
