From BBC News. *Great map from the BBC's Altered States section. Though too bad it's not more interactive. Click on it to see a larger version on BBC's website. From just eyeballing the map, it looks like we have more dry counties than any other state. *No podcast this week. We'll return next week. *As I think Max has predicted on the podcast or elsewhere before, it looks like Little Rock businessman, Gov. Beebe pal and Arkansas Highway commissioner John Burkhalter is eying a gubernatorial run. Jason Tolbert today dug up a Burkhalter4Governor.com website that's registered in Burkhalter's name. Sounds like a fairly epic primary battle is brewing. [ Subscribe to the comments on this story ]
