William Gheen believes that the purpose of the DREAM Act and giving amnesty to 12 to 20 million illegal immigrants is to create a block of voters that will displace and replace the center-right Christian/conservative heart of America, thereby turning America into a leftist nation.
Obamacare is being implemented in stages and plans call for further implementation under the guise of state healthcare insurance exchanges. Between patient privacy issues, mandates and mandate exemptions, states rights, employer fines…this topic is complicated but Jim and Twila sort out the details when you review this edition of Crosstalk.
President Obama has stated that he's a Christian and he has emphasized the importance of our faith. But what does he mean when he says he's a Christian? Does he have a track record during his first term to prove it or are there examples showing him acting counter to his spoken allegiance?
Music can motivate; it can be a blessing, but it can be abrasive as well as a curse. It's this very challenging topic of music and worship in the church that was covered on this edition of Crosstalk. Remember that God does not accept all forms of worship allegedly geared toward Him. He's looking for those who worship Him in spirit and in truth. This fact alone makes this Crosstalk a critical one worth reviewing as well as sharing with friends and loved ones.
After Mitt Romney's announcement of Paul Ryan as his vice-presidential candidate, the liberal media began to scare seniors with the false notion that Ryan, if elected, would change Medicare as we know it. Is this true? Daniel noted that President Obama is taking away billions from seniors as he attempts to do away with Medicare Advantage, yet he has the nerve to criticize Paul Ryan who is, in fact, trying to save the system.
According to Dr. Ashton, changes or mutations to DNA can happen when there is a loss of some of the code or the code is damaged or if the code has new components added to it. No scientist has ever seen the substantial amounts of new code forming that would be required to prove the existence of evolution.
This Crosstalk features Vic Eliason as he reviews a number of media opinions regarding the choice of Congressman Ryan for vice-President. Vic also takes calls from Crosstalk listeners as they express what impact they feel Ryan will have on the Republican ticket, how he measures up to Joe Biden, if the choice of Ryan is swaying their vote one way or the other and more.

This edition of Crosstalk looks at a movement to control and direct what youth are taught in the public education system under the title of Common Core Standards. Jim noted how this violates the 10th Amendment and Rachel also pointed out how this violates the 'No Child Left Behind' law. Find out how much this will cost, the quality of the standards, what this may mean for public school children and more when you review this edition of Crosstalk.
The right to self-defense is biblical. America's founders knew this which is why they gave us the right to keep and bear arms. Does history prove that gun bans make American cities safer? Erich describes why the answer is no, and with Vic, discusses other factors that prove why allowing law-abiding citizens to carry guns, is a great deterrent to crime.
This Crosstalk was an example of how we can't forget to monitor and pray for the needs of those ministering the gospel in places other than America. Christian Andresen began by describing Europe as basically a godless society. As an example, he cited East Germany where now only 2.5% believe that there is a God. Where did things go wrong? Christian believes the church lost its focus and went more with culture and traditions rather than focusing on the Bible and God.
