On this week's Poker Advocacy with Rich Muny webcast, I was joined by poker reporters Steve Ruddock and Marco Valerio for a panel discussion on the Global Gaming Expo (G2E), Sheldon Adelson, and other poker issues.
On this evening's webcast, Gabriela Hill has kindly agreed to guest host, as I'll be traveling at show time. Gabriela hosted Poker After Dark on Discovery Channel in Spanish-speaking Latin America. Prior to that, she hosted the World Series of Poker on ESPN Latin America and ESPN Deportes for several years. Gabriela will be joined by terrific poker activist Mike Qualley.
I was joined first by 2004 WSOP Main Event Champion Greg Raymer for a discussion on the Liberty Political Action Conference (LPAC) and on the overall poker fight. Following my chat with Greg, PPA Executive Director John Pappas joined me for a discussion on LPAC, Full Tilt Poker remission, and other poker issues.
I was joined by Jay Todd of This Week in Gambling Perspectives Weekly fame. Jay has been on the front lines since UIGEA passed in 2006. In fact, his videos attacking efforts to ban online poker helped to ignite the fight back. We discussed the fight for poker, Sheldon Adelson, and Sen. Mike Lee's recent Reason Magazine interview.
