Political Pistachio Radio Conservative Talkshow host Douglas V. Gibbs died on July 1, 1985. He was resuscitated on the helicopter (Life Flight) while being transported to the hospital. He required a respirator to breath, and was in a deep coma for a week and a half. He remained "out of it" for two more months. Epileptic seizures racked his body, and the doctors gave him no chance to survive, much less return to full capabilities. Hear his story today on Political Pistachio Radio.
