Today we discus how setting a good example can not only leave a impression with your own kids but it can also make a impact with other kids and adults. We all need to strive to be better neighbors and better people. Lend a helping hand, show people how to do things. Remember the more you teach some one the less you have to do for them. “give a man a fish and he can eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he can eat for a life time.”

As you my guess today we talk about animal feed. There are benefits to home grown feed and store bought feed. They both also have some draw backs. I would love to hear what you are using to supplement your store bought feed or if you have taken your self off completely.

well today’s podcast is all about what homesteading is, what prepping is, what the difference is and whats the same about them. something I touched on in the podcast. in today’s episode we talk about the basics of barter. I truly hope I give you a new way to look a value of things. It just might change your whole outlook on the things you spend your money on..     On a side not I ave to say I am so happy with Jamie. Not 15 min after I finished recording this podcast today she called me to say she had traded a bag of produce that we charge $20 for for a pressure caner and some jars. She wanted to make sure that was alright with me. I told her it was great and she did a great job.

Today we talk about security on the homestead. Key points *natural perimeter that impedes the entrance of the unwanted *thick shrubs and trees, thorny vine,s holys, wild roses, locust trees, ceders all work great * keep a unobstructed view inside the perimeter. tree limbs above head high grass kept short.  Keeping a clean line of sight is a must. * solar powered motion lights put up to monitor blind spots. *wifi cameras are great to go along with motion lights. * murs-radio sector alarm sensors *all of this can be tied in to a home computer then you can view it from anywhere you have internet even on your phone.

Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan ‘Press On’ has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.
