Tonight Tuesday November 30th on SideStand Up "The World's Only Motorcycle Radio Road Show" Mike "Grizz" Newton welcome Rick Miller just one of the Illigetmati behind "Beast In The East". The only annual endurance rally east of the Mississippi. Bryce Toole may not ride a moto at least not yet! (Tom's working as a consultant on his first) None the less he is a true adventurer. Last summer he road 850 miles on a BMX bicycle from Pittsburgh PA to Charleston SC. Like many of us moto rider's Bryce lays in bed thinking about his next ride. This spring Blake leaves on his street bike pulling a trailer with is BMX bike strapped to it circumnavigating the States. Tom loves this kids appetite for adventure and bets you will too! It was 1974 with a wife and new daughter at home Jerry Smith and his mates set off on duo sport motos to cross the Dark Continent. You absolutely do not want to miss their adventures related in Jerry's best seller "Into The Heart of Africa". If you thought Sam Manicom had some crazy things happen to him riding across Africa you aint heard nutt'n yet. Carla King talks with Mark Stephen Meadows , author of Tea Time with Terrorists, a book about his journey on a Honda XLR 240R Baja trail bike through the minefields of Sri Lanka to seek out and understand terrorists. Not for the faint of heart, the Tamil Tigers invented suicide bombing and were the first to lace together terrorists and financiers into international networks of militant uprising. Along with having tea with terrorists, Meadows is privileged with a deep view into an ancient culture, learns to trap an elephant, weave rope from coconut husks, and cast out devils. If Tom's Dad was Paul Wolff he'd never left Kokomo 36 years ago! Paul and his son Aaron (Aaron is an up and coming Moto Cross rider) just returned to So Cal after 8 weeks on their machines. Tom met these two when he was in Hotchkiss CO At the time they were 3 weeks into a father/son ride across the States. Bets are on that this will be Tom's newest favorite conversation.
