<p>How would you live if you had no fear? What if you had no fear of man, no fear of failure? Jake Hartsock, an elder at Antioch, encourages us to answer this question in light of what God says about fear and about us.</p><p><br/></p>

God created us to live fruitful and productive lives for Him.  We have been entrusted with various gifts, talents, relationships, etc.  Pastor Chris shares a challenging message with the truth that, “if we will be faithful, God will make us fruitful.”

<p>As we begin a new year it is a natural time to reflect on the past and look towards the future.  Pastor Chris challenges us from <a href="http://www.esvbible.org/Isaiah+43.18-19">Isaiah 43:18-19</a> to forget the former things and to not dwell in the past so that we can move into the new things God has in store for our lives.</p>

<p>Most of us would say that the Bible is an important part in the life of a Christian, but does our schedule and routine reflect that importance? So we can have a greater understanding and application of His Word into our lives, God calls us to invest our time and energy in order to “Eat His Word.”</p><p><br/></p>

Pastor Chris shares about the Spiritual Discipline of Confession, answering questions like, “If I am already forgiven then why do I need to confess my sins.”  This message walks through the intended progression of confession, sorrow, repentance which leads to freedom and joy.

<p>Pastor Chris takes some time to share vision for fasting and practicals on how we can walk it out over the next 21 days as a church family.</p>

Pastor Chris begins our new series, Spiritual Disciplines, by sharing about the purposes of prayer and fasting.  Through the Bible and throughout history God has used men and women mightily as they sought the purposes and power of God through these disciplines.

For the Saturday afternoon session, Julie Bennett teaches on the importance of knowing how to love God, receiving His love, and loving yourself.

Our good works are meant to reveal the Father and lead people to Him.  In our final week of our series, City on a Hill, Chris share about the call to love not only in word but in deed that our good works would lead others into a relationship with Jesus.

Jesus has called His Church to be a city on a hill.  We must realize that when we were called into fellowship with Jesus we were also called into fellowship with one another.  Pastor Chris shares about the need for walking in true community and sharing our lives with others.

There are many things that the cross of Jesus Christ accomplished for every Christian.  As a part of our series, City on a Hill, Pastor Chris preaches on what the cross accomplished for us today, not just for eternity.

After Jesus identified Himself as the light if the world, He then tells His disciples that they are the light of the world. In Week 1 of our series, City on a Hill, Pastor Chris shares about there areas we are called to bring God’s light; the world, the city, and our house.
