This episode we talked Macklemore’s win(s) at the Grammy’s, the SuperBowl and we reviewed Childish Gambino’s Because the Internet for Blend It or Bump It. How do you think it did?

This week we became frustrated with all of the terrible music on the radio. We started talking about how music on the charts in the 90’s wasn’t NEARLY this bad. So we put it to the test during the show. We also checked out The LOX – “The Trinity” for Blend It or Bump It this episode. Come chill in the basement!

As we still feel out our new home we get into some more fun topics. We probably had too much to drink and listened to some great music. On the chopping block this week was a random Detroit joint, Denmark Vessey’s Cult Classic. We also talked about Kanye vs. Sway and much more!

Our first episode! For those who are new to “The Basement”, this show is a spinoff from our original 8 year-old podcast “The HoodHype Show”. The Basement is hosted by Major & JMack who discuss everything from the latest in hip-hop news, to movies, to gaming, to social political issues, to racial talk.
