MelleBEATS, also called by his first name Melle , is a young Producer/DJ  that fell in love with Music since his birth but started a relationship with her at the age of 13. His style isn't that easy to describe, you'll hear some UK Funky, Bass, Hiphop, Dubstep, Drum&Bass, Jungle, Moombahton, Jungle and whatever sounds good. As long as it's dope, right? Recently he's been signed to the upcoming label FOOTSTEPPA RECORDS where he will release his first EP (Release Date: October 1st) on called 'Dah Donkey'. He won the National DJ Contest of Kunstbende 2011 and performed on this year's Mysteryland, Defqon.1 and more. The mix takes you on a journey through different styles, you'll hear some Bass, Jungle, Dubstep, Drum&Bass, Moombahton and Hiphop. It begins around 130 bpm, goes 20 minutes later to 140 bpm and after that its slows down to 110 bpm. The mix ends with some Juke, Drum&bass and Hip Hop around 180 bpm!

De Afdeling is een nieuw uitgaansconcept in Amsterdam, dat diverse muziekgenres, dj’s en bezoekers bij elkaar brengt. De Afdeling biedt een platform voor opkomende artiesten in diverse genres. Verwacht elke twee maanden een nieuwe Afdeling. Elke keer een andere stijl. De Afdeling is er voor artiesten en voor het publiek. Ook bezoekers kunnen invloed uitoefenen op de inhoud. Op aansporen van de organisatie zullen zij bijvoorbeeld het muziekgenre zelf kiezen of materiaal aanleveren voor een aftermovie. Goede ideeën en veelbelovende artiesten worden zo samengevoegd in een reguliere clubavond. 23 September trappen we af met Afdeling:Techno! Chris grew up in the capitol of The Netherlands and has always earned his credits within the Amsterdam dancescene. Starting off as a DJ, he also found his way into organizing and promoting events and became one of many people who turned Amsterdam into a danceminded city. Also nationally he found himself getting more and more recognition, performing throughout the entire country, he had reached a goal that he had in mind for so long. Even some major gigs abroad crossed his path and it looked like he had achieved almost all his goals within the world of dance. Goals such as performances at the renowned Dance Valley the legendary Impulz Festival, all big clubs and stages in Holland (a.o. Melkweg, Paradiso) and even some impressive headlinings in the UK, Greece and Thailand, he felt like he had seen it all. This and the fact that the sound that he used to love, started to evolve into something which wasn’t that much of his liking, he decided to overview his career. This made him see that he wanted to do something else, playing and producing a different sound, a different environment, the dawning of something that should be the beginning of a new era. Next to DJ-ing and promoting, Chris has also found his way into the studio. This new experience resulted in his first release, dedicated to his brainchild Trance Nation. This anthem, called ‘Future Sound Of Trance’ will be released by Fausto’s label Excessive Records and has already proven itself to be a massive floorfiller. Major DJ support was already established, so it won’t take long before you’ve been tranced out by Holland’s newest one-to-watch. Chris Cortez is going to Trance the Nation!
