 Dance-Tunes Radio presents: Prok & Fitch | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:00:04

Tipped by the national media as ‘One's To Watch’, Beatport's Artist tip in 2010, and rave reviews throughout 2011, Prok & Fitch have more than proved the journalists’ predictions right. The hottest DJ/producer pairing in house music have chalked up an impressive array of achievements over their 6 years working together, with annual worldwide tours from Brazil to Australia alongside their full international DJ diary. Now focusing on their original productions, Ben Prok and James Fitch’s works have been signed to some of the biggest names in the business: Axtone, Great Stuff, Toolroom Records, CR2, Stealth, 303Lovers and more. With serious and diverse support from the likes of Carl Cox to the Swedish House Mafia, Pete Tong to Tiesto there’s few clubs worldwide, which haven’t witnessed the Prok & Fitch reaction. The boys have also been remixing for some heavy-duty names including Laidback Luke, Moby and Strictly Rhythm. Their own imprint, Floorplay Music continues to sign strong projects too, notably a smash from ATFC & David Penn - there’s no doubt that Prok & Fitch is becoming the byword for superior skills in quality house music. As 2012 kicked off the label approached 30 releases & some great new music releases scheduled throughout the year. Floorplay Music is much more than a record label though – it’s a way of life! Floorplay parties have quickly become stuff of late night legend. What started off as a small label showcase night has turned into regular roadblocks and sell outs in Brighton, Dubai and London. The Guardian, Mixmag, IDJ and DJ magazine have all proclaimed Floorplay to be the ‘best night in the South’ and it’s easy to see why – guests have included Dirty Vegas, Chris Lake, Mark Knight... the list just goes on. In the DJ booth, it's all about the groove with these guys, whether they are on a line up with the underground crew keeping it deep and dark or playing in the big main rooms for the masses, their versatility and acceptance across genres has been key to their success to date! Rocking main stages at the infamous Sunburn Festival in Goa & many other festival's, playing at some of he most prestigious clubs in the world: Amnesia in Ibiza, Sankeys in Manchester, Pacha in Sao Paolo and Circus in Montreal. It's difficult to find a country that they haven't visited in the past 12 months. 2012 is shaping up very nicely, with their busiest DJ diary to date, hotly anticipated releases on Floorplay, Great Stuff, Stealth & Toolroom in the first quarter of the year. Expect collaborations with Roger Sanchez, Alex Kenji, Marco Lys, Bass Kleph & more all the ingredients are in place for 2012 to be their best year yet.....

 Dance-Tunes Radio presents: Reygel&Peri | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:00:04

Both born in Hasselt, Reygel & Peri (Matthias Reygel & Willem Jans) ran into each other in high school and soon after that it became clear they shared the same obsession with house music. It didn’t take long before they teamed up as deejays. While most of their friends would go to parties, Reygel & Peri would be the ones playing there. Gaining confidence from the crowd’s positive reactions they decided to turn it up a few notches. They entered numerous dj-competitions which always landed them in a top spot IF they didn’t win. Aside from deejaying, Reygel & Peri became notorious for their bootlegs, mash-up’s and edits. Those tracks even made it up to the stages of Belgium’s biggest festivals, getting played by the other deejays. After almost a decade of tearing up floors together, Reygel & Peri have built up a solid reputation in doing so. This often gets them a spot to play at the big clubs or great venues such as the City Parade, Ockxfest, Les Ardentes, Tomorrowland and lots of other gigs. In the past years they have shared the decks with many of the greatest house deejays. When Reygel & Peri play early, they heat up the place nice and smooth. In any other case, they just break it down. When they aren’t deejaying, they probably are looking for fresh tunes or they might be re-editing existing tracks, making them fit perfectly in their sets. Reygel & Peri deliver carefully selected house tracks, accompanied with the right amount of dancefloor nukes, which always gets the party from zero to mayhem.

 Dance-Tunes Radio presents: Sem Thomasson | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:00:04

Sem Thomasson is a young Belgian dj/producer. Inspired by the musical vibes of his father, he started experimenting with digital samplers and synths as early as his tenth birthday. The pathway to electronic dance music was already steadily set. At the age of eighteen, Sem Thomasson released his first record—the result of eight years of strenuous hard work. The deejay bookings followed only a short while after and the start of his rich musical career couldn’t have been better planned. He is now fully prepared to let the world meet with his peculiar sound and natural talent for making greatly accessible dance tracks. A mix of Tech-House and Progressive Techno are the key to his producing and deejaying succes. Not only are his productions of high quality, they also seem to have an immense impact on the crowd. He has received great feedback from none less than Laidback Luke, Bingo Players, Kid Massive, Steve Angello, David Guetta, Erick Morillo, David Vendetta, Funkerman, Alex Kenji, Max Vangeli, Peter Gelderblom, Prok & Fitch, Flash Brothers, Tom Novy, Gregor Salto, Joachim Garraud, Dj Tiësto, Stephan Hinz, Pole Folder, Lake & Lys, Andrea Belli and many other deejays and producers. His music penetrates right through your body to the very core of your dancing nerve centre and that is something not easily achieved. Sem Thomasson is a remarkable talent, someone who knows exactly which way his ship is sailing, without losing the dynamics to steer left or right at a certain point. You will be hearing more from him, no doubt!

 Dance-Tunes Radio presents: DJ Chus | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:00:04

Chus L. Esteban, Madrid 1971, started his professional career at the end of the 80’s in his home town, amidst the full-blown euphoria of the acid-house movement at ‘Alien’, one of the first clubs of the famous Kapital Group. In August of ’92 he was invited to play at the mythical Portuguese club Kadoc, where he was fortunate enough to share the booth with the best international DJs of the time, witnessing from a privileged position the dance music evolution that took place during the 90′s. It was then that his style, influenced by the Portuguese and American underground sounds, definitely converged into house. When In September ’94 Madrid’s first house club, Teatro Kapital, was inaugurated, Chus became the clubs first emblematic resident DJ, lasting an extraordinary 10 years. While at the same time maintaining his relationship with Kadoc. His innate desire to create and improve led him to try his hand at production, with the guidance of the then up and coming David Penn, a logical and well chosen step in his career. Along the way Chus was to meet someone who would influenced the following 10 years, Pablo Ceballos whose techno background gelled with Chus’s house style. From this fusion emerged the Iberican Sound concept which then evolved into a worldwide movement. The Iberican Sound is his trademark, a personal vision of house music, which has contributed positively to the worldwide electronic music scene, and which opened the door for things to come, the oportunity to play in Ibiza, a passport to the top100DJMag and the recognition of the whole international community reflected in the many awards Chus has collected throughout his career. ‘DJ of the Year’, ‘Best House DJ’, ‘Best Remixer’ or ‘Best House Label’ from Spanish Deejay Magazine to name but a few. All this has culminated in a recording legacy of over 20 years in the form of original productions or remixes either solo, with David Penn, Pablo Ceballos or many other partners in crime. From this list stand out such themes as DJ Chus ‘That Feeling’, ‘Harmonica Track’ or ‘Back2NY’ as DJ Chus & David Penn ‘Baila’, ‘Will I’ or ‘Burning Paris’, as Chus & Ceballos ‘Iberican Sound’ ‘In Stereo’ or ‘Baguio Track’ and remixes like ‘Hell in Paradise’ for Yoko Ono, ‘Dark Beat’ for Oscar G & Ralph Falcon, ‘Hang Up’ for Madonna or the latest ‘Not Myself Tonight’ for Christina Aguilera. Chus has become a global artist playing at some of the world’s most renowned clubs with regular residencies at Pacha NYC, Space Miami, Stereo Montreal or Ageha Tokyo to name but a few. To round off Chus has added the world of radio to his long list of creative activities fronting his own radio show, ‘In Stereo Radioshow’ which can be heard live on the best radio stations worldwide, on the internet or in a weekly podcast version.

 Dance-Tunes Radio presents: John Dahlback | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:00:20

John Dahlbäck is further testament to the theory that when it comes to overly talented musical homelands, there could indeed be something in Sweden’s water. Born in 1985 in a small village near Stockholm, he landed his first record deal aged just 15 while most of his peers were just discovering clubs. Just a few years later he was already the proud owner of a worldwide respected label, had a string of well-known productions to his name and a reputation for quietly turning out some of the best house melodies you could hope to hear. With a family background boasting more music than the Von Trapps it’s no surprise he was instantly hooked – his mum sings in a jazz band, his dad drummed in a prog rock band, and various aunts and uncles played piano, guitar and more, so he was hardly stuck for inspiration or opinions to help him get started. Learning the basics on his dad’s Atari computer he soon established his own style, and his second demo, a jazz-influenced, deep house number called Night Flash, earned him a record deal with Route 33. After five successful years running his Pickadoll label, John started his own label "Mutants", “I had a real vision about the label,” says John Dahlbäck. “I can hear within a couple of seconds whether a track will fit, and I love doing this kind of organised work – sending out promos and looking for licenses – otherwise I’m just a slave to the studio!” Although primarily an outlet for John's more experimental tracks from the studio, about 20% of Mutants' output is made up of other artists signed by John. "I like to combine sounds and styles and I still want that emotional twist, but I love the playful and sometimes experimental vibe of house." His last album called “Winners And Fools” came out in September 2008, and described by John as “the one I’m most proud of. I’ve done a lot in the past and there have been some amazing moments. When the single “Blink” started to get big in France and I was making the video it was a huge moment, but every time I do a track now I feel I’m improving. For John Dahlbäck, his agenda for making and playing music is simple. “I’m quite calm when I DJ, I don’t want to be ‘showy’ - I love to play for dancing people, to really see them loving the tunes. And I love to make the tunes that get them dancing…” Now, in 2011, John Dahlbäck has several songs on Toolroom, Spinnin’, Defected, Versuz, Big Beat/Atlantic NEWS, Universal GAS, Universal Nordic, Ministry Of Sound Australia and One Love/Sony Australia. His latest single featuring Erik Hassle "One Last Ride" (with remixes by Tommy Trash & Felix Cartal among others) has already been added to National Radio in Sweden and played by the Swedish House Mafia on their Pete Tong Radio1 show. This year he has also remixed Lady Gaga, Nicole Featuring 50 Cent, Skylar Gray, David Morales and Sneaky Soundsystem among others. Already for 2012 John will be releasing a Mix Cd for Tool Room Records in January with several other releases coming out every month.

 Dance-Tunes Radio presents: Gregor Salto | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:01:06

Music is a life necessity for Gregor Salto, who has been dj-ing and producing extensively since his early teens.
Never satisfied with just one particular sound, Gregor constantly
seeks to cross existing boundaries and take on new challenges. That’s
how he could rise to the top as one of Holland’s most successful dance
artists, while simultaneously using his own label G-REX Music and side
projects like Gregor Salto LIVE to further widen his musical scope. The House music virus struck young Gregor when he first heard Royal House’s
classic anthem 'Can You Party' at a school dance. He then decided his
life wouldn’t be fulfilling without making beats of his own. After
some years of experimenting on his dad’s Commodore Amiga computer, Gregor debuted in 1995 with 'Pangaea'. This first EP was released on 'Fire & Ice' a sub-label of Amsterdam’s legendary
'Outland Records'. Many other releases followed, mostly in the Club House and Club-Trance genres, under monikers like Luna Mora and The Beach House Brothers. But it would take almost a decade of hard work before
Gregor had his first big break. Can’t Stop Playing, a catchy House
tune produced with Dr. Kucho, skyrocketed to the Dutch Top 40 in 2004. This
was the start of Gregor’s ongoing roller-coaster ride through Dutch
clubland, dj-ing anywhere from the smallest of backwater barns to the
vastest of inner city super clubs and headlining most of the country’s
leading festivals. Nowadays Gregor extends his fame to most European
countries, the Middle East, Africa, the Caribbean and the Americas.
He obviously knows what it takes to rock a dancefloor – something he is
still proving every day of the weekend from behind the decks. Tracks like Mas que nada, Lambada 3000, Damelo and Messe Messe seem to
underline Gregor’s identity as a Afro / Latin House artist. Yet his interests
have always extended to a wider variety of styles. Mister Salto loves to
incorporate organic influences into the digital world of electronic
music and his own label G-Rex has proven to be the perfect platform for more adventurous endeavors. Through his label and in numerous studio collaborations, Gregor
has come across many talented musicians. To stage this diverse group
of artists and at the same time showcase the different aspects of his
own musical identity, Gregor has launched Gregor Salto LIVE. During these long,
d-jam sessions, everything seems to come together. Because however versatile Gregor’s music may seem, all of it carries the same distinct and captivating flavor.

Due to these facts, DBN has been awarded as the "Top Single Act National 2010". By the way, beside the Swedish House Mafia, DBN was the one and only act with two tracks in the top ten in 2010. In 2010 the boys worked as well on several remixes for e.g. Tim Berg, Norman Doray and Sebastien Drums, Nalin & Kane, Medina, Danny Freakazoid or one of the famous german pop-acts – Ich+Ich.  Dance-Tunes Radio presents: Barry Fore | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:00:39

Barry Fore has no average DJ profile. His love for the nightlife started in the early 90s when house music slowly entered numerous clubs worldwide. Besides going out he began to mix and produce tapes for his friends while working in clubs for the love of music, to keep himself in the epic centre of electronic sounds each weekend and to save some money. Being busy managing clubs and events for 12 years now his passion for perfection soon led to the turntables during closing hours and special parties which ultimately turned out to sets in numerous clubs and festivals like Tomorrowland 2004 – 2012 , Sensation White , Voodoo Dubai , Cityparade and Ibiza . Describing his style is quite tricky as he only aims for the crowd to move and enjoy themselves on the dance floor without getting cheesy on the decks. His sets are like a step into the unknown depths : you never know what your gonna get. Naturally his record collection contains soulful house, groove, electro, techno and minimal sounds, blended with a fling of classy acapellas. Chris grew up in the capitol of The Netherlands and has always earned his credits within the Amsterdam dancescene. Also nationally he found himself getting more and more recognition, performing throughout the entire country, he had reached a goal that he had in mind for so long. Even some major gigs abroad crossed his path and it looked like he had achieved almost all his goals within the world of dance. Goals such as performances at the renowned Dance Valley the legendary Impulz Festival, all big clubs and stages in Holland (a.o. Melkweg, Paradiso) and even some impressive headlinings in the UK, Greece and Thailand, he felt like he had seen it all. This and the fact that the sound that he used to love, started to evolve into something which wasn’t that much of his liking, he decided to overview his career. Next to DJ-ing and promoting, Chris has also found his way into the studio. This new experience resulted in his first release, dedicated to his brainchild Trance Nation. This anthem, called ‘Future Sound Of Trance’ will be released by Fausto’s label Excessive Records and has already proven itself to be a massive floorfiller.
