PAUL WROTE to the church at Corinth that the "rulers of this age" (and he meant spiritual rulers — archons) didn't understand the Old Testament prophecies of Messiah, "for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory" (1 Cor 2:8). Just because Britain’s ‘leave’ vote on its referendum on EU membership may spell the end of the European Union, it doesn’t necessarily mean that Bible prophecy teachers expecting a revived Roman Empire before the end of all things are wrong.
