Summary: very week, iFanboy talks comics. This video show brings you the world of comic books through the eyes of iFanboy hosts Josh, Ron, and Conor. Whether you want to see what's going on at some of the biggest comic book conventions, or you're not sure what comics you should be reading, iFanboy covers a new topic every week, with passion, honesty, and, if all goes well, some laughs too. Whether it's talking about comics from the living room, or going out and meeting big names at conventions and signings, iFanboy will bring you something fun every week. Watch iFanboy for graphic novel and trade paperback recommendations, reviews of comics from Marvel, DC, Image, and Indie publishers, and sometimes we even give dating advice. Ryan Stegman keeps getting more work under his belt. This year saw both Scarlet Spider and Fantastic Four, but also his successful Kickstarter campaign for I Draw Comics, an instructional work book for aspiring comic book artists. It was also announced at NYCC that Stegman will be joining Dan Slott on Superior Spider-Man, for what they hope will be a definitive run in the Spider-Man world. Plus we find out about the terrible demons that haunt Ryan's inner most thoughts of himself and his work. But we mostly talk about Spider-Man.

We started the San Diego Comic-Con by talking with The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman and we end the con by talking to The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman. It's Sunday, 5 PM and the con is shutting down, but that doesn't stop us from the hilarity that ensues as we talk about the dominance of The Walking Dead at the con, what with the obstacle course and issue #100 breaking all sorts of records. We also chat with Kirkman about his other projects, watch as he signs autographs and swap tales of the homeless of San Diego. A whole bunch of the current DC titles get to exist in the main universe, but Earth 2 is the only place to find that universe. James Robinson writes and Nicola Scott draws the adventures of the other earth, featuring a retooled Justice Society. We talk to the creative team about building this set of characters and just what they have to do with the older characters they're based on. We also touch on the transformation of Alan Scott to a leading gay character, and just what that means, if anything. Robinson also touches on The Shade and what the future may or may not hold for the character.

Last year he was celebrating his Eisner win for Return of the Dapper Men, this year Dapper Men has a fancy new special edition and Jim has a new ongoing series at Image Comics, Mind the Gap, which got the celebrity treatment on the Image Comics booth. Always crazy, always insane, Jim McCann fills you in on Mind The Gap and how the fan reaction has been to the ongoing thriller. And as a special bonus, McCann hints that there may be more exciting things to come at a con near you....

This past has been a banner year for Archie Comics. After teaming up with rock legends KISS for Archie Meets Kiss, launching a new line of superheroes with The New Crusaders and then most recently announcing Archie Meets Glee and a partnership with MAC Cosmetics, Archie Comics has done a ton to bring in new readers while keeping Archie relevant. We catch up with Archie Comics' Mike Pellerito to hear how the strategy has been for Archie and what we can look forward to. And bonus! Gene Simmons yells at Ron!

We gathered up a batch of DC Comics heavy hitters for this one, including a couple of firsts for the show. First up, we talk to J. Michael Straczynski, and talk about what he's got going on with Before Watchmen, and his books Nite Owl and Dr. Manhattan. He talks about working with the genius Kuberts and their relationship as well as his take on how to do these books right. He also talks about what's coming up with JMS Studios and all the content that will produce. Next, we welcome artist Amanda Conner, who is co-creating Silk Spectre with Darwyn Cooke, and talks about the challenge of bringing this part of the story to life, and how to make it new, but also fit in with what came before. Watch for a special guest appearance by Jimmy Palmiotti. Finally, DC co-publisher Jim Lee comes along to talk about the state of DC Entertainment, after the New 52 and Before Watchmen have hit the ground running.

For the first time, we welcome Image Comics publisher, Eric Stephenson to the show. Eric is heading up the third largest publishing company in comics, and they've gone about things in a very different way than Marvel and DC have. Focusing on creator-owned, and new creations, Image have forged a path that's attracted many of the big stars of comics to do their own series. This year's San Diego Comic-Con saw the announcement of several new series for Image, including Lazarus from Greg Rucka and Michael Lark, as well as Satellite Sam from Matt Fraction and Howard Chaykin. Throw in a huge number of other successes like Saga and The Walking Dead, and Image Comics is on an incredible roll. Stephenson has also been very vocal on the controversy of Before Watchmen, and we touch base with what he thinks about that. All this and more, in a nice little chat down the pub.

Marvel Comics made a big splash before the San Diego Comic Con with their announcement of the line wide relaunch, dubbed Marvel Now! We caught up with Marvel Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada to talk about the state of Marvel and the state of comics and how he sees his place in it and the importance of Marvel NOW! Then we have an extended conversation with Marvel Comics editor in chief, Axel Alonso, about some of the details of Marvel NOW! What went into the planning and orchestration of the move and what fans can expect. We get some added information about what to expect from Uncanny Avengers and possibly what books won't be relaunching this fall.

We caught up with a beaming Norton after the Eisner win to talk about the experience as well as his new books from Image Comics, Revival and It-Girl. Image Comics had more surprises, including announcing a new book from Matt Fraction and Howard Chaykin, Satellite Sam. We snagged Fraction after he made his surprise appearance at the Image panel to talk about Satellite Sam and working with Chaykin.

Then we head over to Joe Keatinge's booth, who's got plenty of issues of Hell Yeah and Glory under his belt these days, as well as an upcoming jaunt with the big Titan himself, Thanos in the works over at Marvel. Joe talks about what it's like to be in year two of this comic book writing career, and just how excited he was to get to work with a great legacy character.
