Mental Keys: Focus | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 8:30

We've all seen him do it — Tiger Woods walking down the fairway, eyes toward the ground, completely focused on whatever kind of magic he is about to pull off. On this episode of Golf Smarter Tips, Michael says that within that focus must come a resistance to thinking about your score or winning — the minute you think about those competitive marks, it may force you out of the present, and out of contention.  Swing Mechanics: Drills | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 7:02

Warming up before you go out and play golf is always a good idea. Kirk Jones of The Golf Institute of Technology explains a few simple exercises on this episode of Golf Smarter Tips. For instance, try swinging your club with your left hand only. The strength of your hand, wrist and forearm will improve and you will be able to feel your arm swing move your body turn — as it always should. If your body turn is too fast, you risk not hitting the ball at all. Kirk has a new Golf School. This may be the most golf effective and cost effective program you’ll find anywhere.
