The less said about last Saturdays final home league game the better as the lions crashed to a 3-0 loss against Oxford with the lions now needing to win away at Bristol Rovers this Sunday to guarantee that 6th place playoff spot to extend the season for at least 2 more games. Our 1st lion’s legend keeper of the night Bryan King joined us in the 1st half of the show to talk about his playing days down the old Den and playing for England along with what he’s doing nowadays and just turning 70 years young last week. Our 2nd lion’s legend keeper of the night Tony “Denzil” Warner joined us in the 2nd half of the show to talk about the highs and lows playing for the lion’s and what he’s been up to since leaving Millwall and what he’s up to these days. Last Saturday see the lion’s climb back into the playoff spots with their 1-1 away draw to Gillingham after coming back from a goal down after what seemed to be a push on Wall keeper Tom King over the bye line that resulted in a corner which the Gills then scored from after a superb first time save that the rebound was then converted into the opening goal, also the boys in the studio talked about the lion’s chances of now staying in the playoff spots to the end of the normal season. Our 1st guest on the show was Nena Gibson who is Junior Lions co-ordinator telling us about the club's outstanding achievement in winning the Nickelodeon Family Club of the Year trophy at last weekend's EFL Awards and what it means for everyone involved in the Jr Lions setup and the club along with the fans. Our 2nd guest on the show was former American import keeper Kasey Keller talking about what it was like playing for the lion’s and the FA Cup run which see the lion’s knock both Chelsea & Arsenal out of the cup but more so the penalty save away at Stamford Bridge along with what he does nowadays. With the lion’s losing their last 2 league matches at the end of March to winning their first 2 matches of April sees the team still with everything to play for in the last five games to get one of the playoff places and extend the season with the hope of another consecutive Wembley playoff final after beating Scunthorpe 3-1 at the Den last Saturday & Shrewsbury away 2-1 which saw both the opponents getting late consolation goals to deny the lion’s clean sheets.
