Part 2 of 2. After the retrospective in part 1, this half of the podcast looks forward to next season. Part 1 of 2. The first half of this end of season podcast is a retrospective of the 2012-13 season: where it went wrong - and where it went even wronger. Colin's departure and Brian's arrival fall under the microscope and the lads revisit their shoddy preseason predictions. This time the pod consumes all things equine - including the occasional donkey. Colin features heavily too, whether he's being self-serving, sexist or merely sarcastic. The pod speaks to Andy Pye about the casuals exhibition and book 'Wish You Were Here'. There's joy at the Spurs victory and the encouraging signs against Cardiff, but there's frustration at another hero departing for East Anglia and a fairly mediocre transfer window. It's the second installment of the two-part girthcast and the lads predict doom against Spurs and Cardiff. After a winter break the pod returns with a mammoth two-parter. New sound! New voiceover! Same old story at Leeds! Recorded just before that whole awkward Becchio thing, the lads look back across the last 12 games, highlights include Barnsley! Chelsea! Hull! With the takeover finally nearing its end, GHFC are taking control and the team is winning again. We've even loaned some players! A wave of optimism has swept through ER, but has it arrived in the pod yet? Can we muster up some joy with Ken still loitering? Take note - recorded just before the takeover! There's dodgy money being passed around, while the ball flies over everyone's head in a pointless period for the Whites. It's hard to see where a win is going to come from and in tribute to the season, the pod remembers other things that have started well and turned out badly for United. With United hammered in the media, the pod examines the events at Sheffield Wednesday; songs, assaults, a bit of football - the lot. There's positive news too as Leeds take apart Southampton's reserves, but the rest has been pretty abject. The international break is upon us, so it's time for the boys to take stock of the season so far. It's a general thumbs up as United's unbeaten streak continues. It's not so rosy for GFH Capital, who appear to have turned on the Supporters Trust - or have they? None of that really matters, though. From bad to worse - United have endured some refs across the ages and paranoia rules the pod as the team recalls famous officiating crimes. The YEP's Phil Hay explains what's going on with the takeover, but there are still more questions than answers. The pod returns after its summer break and everything is different. We've bought the whole of Portsmouth, there are Arabs knocking at the door while Ken is loitering on the fringes of the party.
