Gloria sings, Where or When. Tough guy Alan Ladd goes toe to toe with Bob. Who will turn out to be more vivacious and cuddley? Huh? Just listen, it'll make sense. In a role switched drama, the guys take the girl parts, and the gals play the menfolk. PS: It really is funny when a reversed sex role is done. The absurdity works because it's unnatural. When a society begins to believe a sex role reversal is normal, the whole thing is just creepy.

After a mix up was done on accident, a locket that Lum meant as a love note, and proposal to Miss Fredericks has been randomly sent out in Cedrics delivery orders. Who will get the locket? Lum even sent his picture in the locket so whoever gets it will know it was him who sent it. Lum waits like a condemned man, afraid to show his face, and dreading the thought of facing the person who recieved his romantic gift. Grandpap and Abner read from books in the library. When Cedric enters the news comes that Snake Hogan is down at the barber shop, the nerve center of town gossip, and he's telling all about the locket in his loaf. Lum cringes at the ribbing that the menfolk will be giving him. Snake enters, but Lum is surprised at his good nature when he visits. Why is he so thrilled?

Chuck has safely taken his sick and injured passenger to the hospital. As Captain Midnight, Patsie, and the rest discuss the harrowing experience, and it's importance. As they laugh, and await the airplane, plans are made to get further training for Chuck at a flight school. Airplanes approach, and Patsie recognizes her brother Steve in the cockpit. Chuck lands in a better airstrip that's near by, but Steve has news for our heros. What kind of new development might this present for the ongoing drama? Little do our heros know, their future is about to change drastically.

Some people just seem to never get a break, and have nothing but bad luck. Jack is a middle aged man who has been forced to leave his coal mining job due to an injury on the job. On top of that his in laws live with him, and though his mother in law claims to have money stashed away, she doesn't contribute to the household. Jack has the chance to buy his own business, if only mom will kick in with a little cash to back him. After an argument, mom is found dead. Jack let's his insensitive side take over, and he ransacks the old woman's trunk, ignoring the concerns of his wife and father in law. The frustrated Jack doesn't find any money, but is blamed for killing his mother in law. What do his wife, and her dad think of the events? As Jack is taken to jail he threatens revenge when he is released. Is it an empty threat, or a promise to worry about? Jack's wife has been feeling guilty that she didn't do more for his defense, and fears what her husband might do is he gets out. Her fear is compounded when she learns Jack could be out early for good behavior. Is it just her conscience, or is there a real danger? Jack is released, but who is the one in danger? Has he changed? Is he still angry? There's still one more death before the show is over, and it might surprise you to discover who it will be.

How did Mrs Blackie find out about it? For that matter, is her claim to have been wed to Blackie true at all? Even Blackie is surprised to find his marriage license was duely registered, just as the woman claims. How did that happen? How will Blackie deal with a jealous Mary. Plenty of questions, and a huge mess for Boston Blackie. Can it get worse? Inspector Farraday arrives on the scene, and claims that Mrs Blackie is dead, and he thinks Blackie did it. Or maybe Mary did it out of jealousy. Solution time. Blackie makes up with Mary, and puts her under wraps to keep her from being blamed by Farraday. Next it's off to confront the political players. A gangster is connected with the events, andBlackie begins to put the pieces together. Now he just has to convince Farraday, and deliver the killer. Get ready for the big explanation, and learn how Blackie has fit all his clues together as the killer is handed over to the cops.

One involves baking a locket with a love note in a special loaf of bread. The trouble is that Abner and grandpap just spent the past few minutes wrapping all the loaves alike.

Abigail Uppington visits with her outlook on occupations as Fibber slips in a joke about her age. Can Fibber expect to uphold his career choice in the art of show biz, or will the handwriting analysis indicate he's due for a career change? Harlow sets things in an Egyptian flavored mood as he pitches the sponsor. The Old Timer pops in, and delivers a joke about revenuers and stills. Fibber makes it to the athletic club, also known as a gym. Mel Blanc is a hiccupping coach. Teenie tells how her dad is the best in the wrestling racket. Bookmatch McGee brags on his athletic past. Doc Adams treats one of the hooligans, and sees some honest goodness in him. But will he need to turn the young man in to the law? What secrets might doc know to give Johnny a leg up, and a job as the bright young man that the store keepper needs? You know he'll manage it somehow.

The fragmented story begins to reveal that time travelers are involved, and the truth about Mastadonia comes out. It's America, 50000 years ago. Follow the time travellers back to Mastadonia, and discover what kind of adventures they go through. Encounter wild beasts, and the risks of being stranded, and without technology to repair their equipment. Why are they back in time anyway? It's all a plan to mine uranium ore in the past, and sell it in the future. Crazy. Our time travellers try to improvise, and get equipment set up for a jump through time with their valuable cargo. Will their plan work, or is the equipment broken too badly? Will their counterparts in the 20th century be able to bring them back? How long can the stranded miners fend off the wildlife with their limited ammunition? Time apparently does odd things as you jump from one side to the other. Just give it a listen, and enjoy the swashbuckling adventure through time.

Robberies and drug smuggling have plagued the city, and a member of the gang has been captured. He's a small fry in the big scheme of things, but does he know enough to help the cops? The complex operation involves stealing cars, and smuggling drugs out of Mexico, but the big boss is going to be a tough mastermind to bring down. He's a big time operator, and Joe calls in the police from everywhere he can, including the Mexican police. In voiceover, he tells about all his efforts to try and catch his drug smuggler. A tip comes in, but how much will it help? Shady activity at a car lot seems to point to trafficking of stolen cars. Could it be connected? Bingo! It's the break the cops needed, and a new string of suspects are watched as the stake outs are set. The heat is on as Joe Friday moves in on the desperate criminals. Don't miss out on the suspense packed finish.

Of course, Howard does break her heart, but Sara Lee refuses to be anything but optimistic. To break away, she leaves town to take a job in the big city. Months go by and Sara Lee tells made up, romantic stories to her co-worker. The stories take on weight when a photograph of a man who looks like her old love shows up. Then the man himself, Trevor, takes a room at the hotel. The real life relationship begins to grow, but can it ever aproach the imaginary one she has created in her stories? It's heartbreak time when the actor, Trevor packs it up to do shows elsewhere. She flee's and returns to her hometown. It seems that her first love, Howard has also went through a heartbreak of his own, and is ready to give Sara Lee a second chance.

Our story begins where most end up, in the courthouse. Bolton is a disgruntled rancher who is told to keep off the ranch that he trespassed on to water his herd. The decision in the courtroom finds Bolton blowing up, and threatening revenge. A detail that is nothing new as a judges decision. But is he serious enough to act on his threat? Ride out to visit Wild Bill's friend uncle Jeb Becker for some of his side of the story. The unhappy rancher, and his cohorts mix with Wild Bill, and after gunplay Bolton gets away. While Bill and Jingles relax with old Jeb, Bolton lets his need for anger management run amok in his quest for revenge. What sneaky tricks will he try to pull? Rustling, Sabotage, Stampedes? The irate rancher is smug when Bill can't take him in for the charge of stampeding his herd, but Bolton has jumped the gun. His stunt in stampeding his herd into the water hole has his cows falling sick. Why is that? How did he miss the fact that the water hole was an alkalai hole? Let's just say he was blinded by his own anger and drive for revenge. Or maybe he didn't read the title on the script.

The government is interested in the fire for tax evasion, but there's more agencies than that with a stake in the case. Dick hits the streets on a trail of clues that make the bad guys get nervous. The arson mastermind, the Moth, tries to keep control over his operation. His two bit racketeer henchman, Cupie is sent out on amission, while his girlfriend, Flame handles matters in her own way when Dick Tracy comes calling.
