 Series 4, Episode 4 (Hoover) | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 57:11

Series 4, Episode 4 (Hoover): Andi Osho and Matt Edmonson join Pappy's for the last episode in the series, recorded at the Phoenix Fringe festival! Within it you will find Matthew ripping off a much more famous panel game, Tom and Ben musically ripping off one of the most important rock bands ever, Matt ripping off his clothes (in story form) and Andi almost having her hair ripped off. We can't extend the 'ripping off' analogy as far as the beef, which involves a cat. Again, we are lucky enough to have some superlative show art courtesy of Sally Grosart. You should definitely check out her website here and follow her on Twitter too: @scallyg http://www.weepaperpeople.co.uk If you want to be our best pal, then please help us spread the word about the show: tweet about it, enthuse on Facebook, comment on iTunes or tattoo the website url onto your forehead.  Series 4, Episode 3 (Washing Up) | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 51:53

Series 4, Episode 3 (Washing Up): Paul F. Tompkins and Elis James join Pappy's at the Soho Theatre in a very fun episode indeed! In it Paul shows off an unexpected British accent, Elis reveals his underwhelming impersonation skills, Ben uses the word Flibbertigibbet, Tom exposes his uncanny inability to rhyme and Matthew becomes a one-man jukebox (for a minute or two and then stops). The beef confusingly comes from a man called Laurie and is about a woman called Ron. The show illustration comes courtesy of the pen / hand / mind / computer of Roger Wade. We think it is brilliant - if you agree then you can find his website at rogerwadeillustration.com If you want to be a true champ, then please help us spread the word about the show: tweet about it, enthuse on Facebook, comment on iTunes or just hire one of those airplanes to write a message about it in the sky.  Series 4, Episode 2 (Garden) | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 45:45

Aisling Bea and Lloyd Langford join Pappy's in a green-fingered second episode of the new series! Recorded at the ARGComFest in July it contains several revelations - including... what does Aisling want to plug? what is Lloyd's second job? who is the voice of Tom's internal monologue? what is Ben's solution to conflict in Israel? what does Matthew say that provokes fervent booing? Also within you'll finding singing, an accordion (thanks to Martin White!), an underwhelming weight-based game and a toothpastey Beef courtesy of Hannah. The show's artwork was done by Tom Crowley - and I'm sure you'll agree it is amazeballs. You can find out more about his oeuvre here http://crowleeey.tumblr.com or, if you're twitterish, @crowleeey If you want to be solid gold heroes, then please help us spread the word about this new series: tweet about it, enthuse on Facebook, comment on iTunes or just print up some stickers and put them on strangers coats.  Series 4, Episode 1 (Tent) | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 43:33

Joe Lycett and Mike Wozniak join Pappy's for the first episode of the new series! It's a camping special recorded at the wonderful Machynlleth Comedy Festival in May 2013 and as you'd expect it features Wham, spelling and horses. In it - in amongst the usual mix of puns, jingles and games - you'll find Mike leaping to the defence of a cat, Joe demonstrating his knowledge of fish, Ben flirting badly, Tom not knowing whether to be offended or pleased and Matthew failing to ever pronounce Machynlleth correctly. The show's artwork was done by illustrator James Walmesley - and bloody brilliant it is too. You can find out more about his work here http://jtwillustration.carbonmade.com/ or by following him on Twitter at @RteeFufkin If you want to be absolute ledges, then please help us spread the word about this new series: tweet about it, enthuse on Facebook, comment on iTunes or just walk up to strangers in the street and deliver them a lecture about its merits. A new Flatshare Slamdown recording! We're recording our first stand-alone Flatshare Slamdown in London for over a year! Come along to see the show at the Soho Theatre at 9.30pm on Monday July 8th - more details and tickets at www.sohotheatre.com. We're super excited to have welsh wizard* Elis James and US podcasting giant** Paul F. Tompkins on board as guests - it'll be a great show. * - he's not really a wizard, it's a figure of speech. ** - I don't know how tall he is, so the use of 'giant' may be misleading.

Shameless Plug for Votes | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Just a short podcast from Pappy's to ask if you'd vote for them in the Chortle Awards. They've been nominated in three categories: 'Character or Sketch Act', 'Best Show' and (most importantly in Producer Ben's opinion) 'Best Internet' for Flatshare Slamdown. If you enjoy Flatshare Slamdown and can spare literally a minute to cast your vote we'd all be very grateful. But hurry! The deadline is Wednesday 6th March at 10am. Given we are posting this late there is every chance that by the time you read this it will be too late! It is a very simple process indeed - there's no registration and you don't have to vote in every category. Simply click here to see the voting form: http://www.chortle.co.uk/news/2013/02/26/17293/chortle_award_2013_nominees_are_out

 Series 3, Episode 4 (Party) | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 53:12

Sara Pascoe and Nick Helm help Pappy's summon up the ghost of Rufus Hound in this drunken final 'Party' episode of the series. Recorded at the Pleasance during the Edinburgh Fringe 2012, this is a booze-fueled slice of chaos, which, should you be that way inclined, you could use as the basis for a fairly messy drinking game yourselves (NB Pappy's in no way endorse excess drinking, as this podcast will demonstrate very badly). In it, Helm attacks the Beefer Brown, Pascoe rants at Fat Bianca, Parry gets a bit aggressive, Clark doesn't know what's going on and Crosby rhymes laptop with 'Crap' and 'Pop'. It's all here folks! Including our most ambitious Quickfire Jingle ever (photos: http://pappyspodcasts.tumblr.com/post/35642291075/arthurs-seat-jaunt-flatslam), our first ever round whitewash and a whole host of bad language (in terms of both swears and actual awful speaking). Thank God this episode's illustrator Rosie Cunningham brought calmness and skill to the party (you can find more of her work at www.analoguegirl.co.uk and by following her on Twitter: @illustrationetc). We hope you've enjoyed this third series. The best way you can help us is to spread the word and get us some more listeners - that would be aces. Also, please do comment on iTunes, like us on Facebook, follow Pappy's and Producer Ben on Twitter @pappystweet @_ben_walker and visit Pappy's Tumblr. Pappy's are also currently on tour so you can see them live. See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

 Series 3, Episode 3 (Freezer) | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 38:36

Rhys Darby and Jason Byrne come to Pappy's flat to fight over who is going to defrost the freezer. Recorded at the Pleasance during the Edinburgh Fringe 2012, this episode has it all... Tom delivering a true 'festival moment', Ben telling an awful anecdote, Jason's truly unforgettable impersonation of a famous pacifist, Rhys suggesting they all play a game of 'Escape From Cold Tits' and Matthew revealing that he doesn't like ice in his bottom. Thanks to Steph for her rubbish-bin-related beef and to Moose Allain (@MooseAllain) for his evocative art work. If you enjoy the show then please help us spread the word. Why not fanatically introduce it to two of your friends? Comment on iTunes, like us on Facebook, follow Pappy's and Producer Ben on Twitter @pappystweet @_ben_walker and visit Pappy's Tumblr.  Series 3, Episode 2 (Shed) | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 38:37

Tim Vine and Claudia O'Doherty join Pappy's for a shed-based second episode recorded at the Pleasance during the Edinburgh Fringe 2012. In it... Claudia shocks and arouses Tom and Ben with her opening gambit, Tim tries not to worry about grotting and Matthew tries not to ruin any more than one of Tim's punchlines. **Warning: approach this show with caution if you are afraid of puns** Thanks to Luke for his Feng Shui-based Beef, and to Pei Yen (@_peiyen) for her brilliant illustration. If you're feeling at all inspired by the artwork this series feel free to send us your Flatshare Slamdown inspired pictures (to flatshareslamdown@gmail.com) and we'll set up some kind of online art gallery. If you enjoy the show then please help us spread the word. Why not enthusiastically introduce it to nineteen of your friends? Comment on iTunes, like us on Facebook, follow Pappy's and Producer Ben on Twitter @pappystweet @_ben_walker and visit Pappy's Tumblr. Pappy's are also currently on tour so you can see them live.  Series 3, Episode 1 (Internet) | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 47:39

David O'Doherty and Celia Pacquola are the houseguests for the first in a new (mini) series recorded at the Pleasance during the Edinburgh Fringe 2012. And this battle over who is going to mend the internet router is properly falling off the bone. Whilst David lectures us on squash and Matthew uses the phrase 'pussy-blocker' to everyone's consternation, Celia somehow manages to out-wrong Tom with a story about a frog. Plus, we discover Ben's one skill. Thanks to Fiona for her smelly beef. Also huge thanks to Lawrence Dodgson (@larrybusiness) for his excellent illustration.  Edinburgh 2012 - Trailer | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 3:00

Pappy's Flatshare Slamdown is returning with four new recordings up at the Edinburgh Fringe! And you're invited! So if you’re in town on the 5th, 6th, 7th or 12th at 11.20pm do come along. If you're not in town, why not pass this message on to someone who is? The podcast series will follow later in the autumn. Whilst you’re in Edinburgh why not also check out Pappy's own show and Matthew's show? Plus you can also come along to Producer Ben's other podcast Do The Right Thing. See you there!

 Series 2, Episode 6 (Window) | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 50:20

Norman Lovett and Cariad Lloyd join the boys for the final #flatslam in the series - and it is a bumper-length fight over who is going to clean the flat windows. While Cariad gives us some very sensible glass-buffing tips, Norman goes off on one talking about 'The Big Bang Theory'. Worse is to come when he reveals he isn't a fan of puns - how will he cope with the next fifty minutes? Elsewhere in the show, Ben indicates how little he cares about winning, Tom is confused by vinegar and Matthew loses control. Plus a big shout to brave Beef Brothers complainee James who endures the collapse of his case with stoicism and by throwing in the towel before it has even got started. If you've enjoyed the series then please do help spread the word by telling people about it. We're back with more recordings at the Edinburgh Fringe in August - go to www.comedy.co.uk/pfs-dtrt for more information. See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

 Series 2, Episode 5 (Lock) | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 41:24

Dick & Dom visit from the bungalow next door to help Tom and Ben with their jamboree and orgy plans and inadvertently get caught up in the eternal conflict raging over who has to fix the broken front door lock. And of course when you settle any argument relating to home security you're going to encounter impressions, piggy-backs and toilet roll. Landlord Matthew even breaks with tradition and does an extended Quickfire round (don't get excited - it is the round itself, not the jingle). See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

 Series 2, Episode 4 (Thermostat) | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 44:01

Josh Widdicombe and Brian Gittins swing by to help Tom and Ben determine who has control of the flat central heating. In this mindbending episode things hot up when Matthew disses Josh's anecdotes, whilst Tom and Ben try and guess what their houseguests think is cool and Brian is evidently fascinated by Kenya. This week with added helium (don't try this at home kids!). See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

 Series 2, Episode 3 (TV Remote) | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 42:14

Roisin Conaty and Tom Allen provide able assistance in a battle over who is going to change the TV remote control batteries. In the course of this world-changing episode you won't learn... whether Ben shouts 'Leamington' during sex; which is better: digestive or custard creme; and how many Blue Peters featured the dog Petra. You will hear... Matthew getting confused over which Tom is which; one of the Toms cracking an awful joke about buzzers; and the other one telling an entirely non-scary ghost story.
