The Effects of Procrastination In Your Life | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:08:38

Today we are going to talk about the effects of procrastination in our lives. The phenomena of procrastination is what separates outstanding performance from mediocre performance. Have you ever considered that not succeeding at something important to you... ... even for a REALLY good reason... ... is not the same as achieving your goal? Procrastination takes a toll on virtually every aspect of our lives. It not only threatens our health, but it also prevents us from achieving personal, financial, and career goals that are well within our reach. Think about the promises you’ve made to yourself in the past. Of all the promises and commitments you have made to yourself, how many have you kept? Have you ever considered the cost of poor follow through in your life? Think about a goal that you have failed to meet in the past. Was your failure to follow through or procrastination a by-product of the fact that you were really okay with the way things were to begin with? Or does the poor follow through or procrastination bother you? Does the knowledge that you didn’t follow through with your goals eat you up inside because you know you aren’t doing what you need to do to get the result you say you want? Successful people know you can have whatever level of success you desire and the quality of life you truly want by making some adjustments to the way you are currently operating in your professional and personal life. Aim for what you want each and every day!

10 Principles to Eliminate Distractions and Achieve Your Goa | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:07:37

Today we are going to talk about 10 Principles to Eliminate Distractions so you can achieve your goals sooner. Through my years of coaching people, I have found that we're all guilty of allowing the little things to distract us from what we should be doing. This happens to all of us to some degree or another. Whether you are an employee or self-employed, your income depends solely on you. And the more efficiently you can work the bigger returns you will receive. Take a moment and ask yourself where you truly want to be? Now tell yourself how many things you did today, yesterday, and the day before yesterday that directly contributed to the future results you want. And then tell yourself how many things you did today that did not contribute to your success. Those things probably distracted you from what you knew you should have been doing. Minimize distractions and you'll reach your goals faster - plain and simple. You must minimize distractions and focus on the tasks that have a positive effect on your success. All of the ten principles we will talk about today can be applied to reduce and eliminate distractions from your life. Wouldn’t it be great if our ‘good intentions’ worked the way that we think they should? Not even enthusiasm guarantees positive results. There’s often a wide gap between our intentions and our actions. We fail to take the action necessary to be in alignment with our good intentions. We allow things to distract us way too much each and every day. Eliminate distractions and you have an even better chance of acting on your good intentions and achieving amazing results! Aim for what you want each and every day!

Effective Goal Setting for Even Greater Success | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:07:51

Today we are going to talk about Setting Goals for Even Greater Success. Without execution, visions will remain just that - visions or dreams. Establishing goals and writing them down in ink sets the wheels in motion to creating your ideal life. You have to own your goals. If I set the goals for my clients, they will be missing the personal drive necessary to make their goals happen. One powerful component of goal setting relates to how you will feel once you have attained each of your goals. This adds the emotional element that helps inspire you even more. In theory, working toward your goals is not complicated. Most days, most of the things you do should move you toward your goals. Perfection isn’t a requirement. Rather, consider what would happen if most of what you said and did every day moved you toward your goals. People absolutely must be motivated to work toward their goals. Motivation is the spark that lights the fire necessary for action. Without motivation, a goal is simply words on paper.
