August 26, 2022 - Season 13, Episode 13 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Friday show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about what all Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin had to say during his Friday press conference ahead of the team's Sunday preseason finale against the Detroit Lions.Tomlin announced the quarterback order for the Sunday preseason game so Alex and I go over that news along with the news that running back Najee Harris will play some in that contest. We also talk about quarterback snaps to date in the preseason and revisit the likelihood of Mason Rudolph possibly being showcased for a trade.Alex and I talk about the things we'll be looking for in the Steelers' 2022 preseason finale and talk some about wide receiver Miles Boykin being a near roster lock at this point due to his gunner snaps.If the Steelers need to cut a veteran as part of a roster roundabout because of injured players, Alex and I attempt to narrow down the likeliest player to be cut and then signed back a few days later.The Steelers made another transaction since our last show, so Alex and I recap that news and talk a little about the team's newest player.We mix in other Steelers talk throughout this episode that is not noted in this recap post.Alex and I close this show out by hitting the e-mail machine for a few listener questions as part of closing out this Friday episode.

August 24, 2022 - Season 13, Episode 12 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday show, which was recorded late Tuesday night, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers' Tuesday roster cuts to get the team down to 80 players. Obviously, we talk quite a bit about quarterback Chris Oladokun and outside linebacker Genard Avery being included in those five players that were cut on Tuesday. We also discuss all likely reasons why Avery was jettisoned and if there is a chance he returns after the initial 53-man roster is finally set.The Steelers signed free agent tackle Adrian Ealy a few days ago so Alex and I make sure to quickly address that transaction in this show.Alex and I have now posted our latest 53-man roster predictions now that the team has played two preseason games, so we go over our choices and few changes we both had from our previous attempt.With the all-22 tape from the Saturday night preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars now fully digested, Alex and I go over our final observations.With the Steelers offensive line being a main concern after two preseason games, Alex and I discuss that position group quite thoroughly. We go over if we think the unit will make strides moving forward and if those strides will be enough. In this Monday show, which was recorded late Sunday night, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers' second preseason game of 2022 that took place Saturday night on the road against the Jacksonville Jaguars.Alex and I start by going over the play on the offensive side of the football from Saturday night with the play of rookie quarterback Kenny Pickett being discussed quite a bit. Should Pickett be the Week 1 starter? That topic gets discussed quite a bit before we give an overview of the play of all the quarterbacks. We move on to discuss the poor play of the Steelers' offensive line Saturday night and if anything can be done internally or externally to improve it. We also work our way around to the other offensive position groups.We then move over to the defensive side of the football and discuss all the position groups from top to bottom.
