On this episode of the WDW Kingdomcast we are joined by EPCOT Josh as we continue our Future World armchair Imagineering series with the World of Motion pavilion! We start with some history, move on into the building and attraction architecture and design, then move into the pavilions current platform/attraction/post show. We also throw some ideas around for possible revamps of the pavilion should GM ever pull sponsorship. It seems unlikely GM would at this point given they have stuck it out since opening day but who knows? We also cover Ricky Brigante's of Inside the Magic TRON Track "audio overlay" which if you have not done yet, you need to experience. As we find out going over the history of this pavilion it held a very special place for all of us before getting raped by Nemo and friends. It was very educational and the themeing and attention to detail made it a fully immersive experience. The effects in The Living Seas were executed so well that guest swore their ears were popping due to the pressure change while "descending" to Sea Base Alpha on the ocean floor from ground level. The pavilion was so convincing that you even had to take a a hydrolator "back up to ground level" to exit Sea Base Alpha.
