Debuting today at the Magic Kingdom, Imagineers unveiled their most impressive addition to The Haunted Mansion to date, in the form of Hitchhiking Ghosts that now play pranks on guests riding in Doom Buggies. They no longer simply sit beside guests, but instead mess with them a bit, floating around them and even swapping heads.

The interactive queue at The Haunted Mansion in Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom opened today, offering guests a new introduction to the classic Disney dark ride. The queue features several new tombs, crypts, and ghosts, each with their own sights, sounds, and interactive elements.

On display near Epcot's Germany pavilion is Rapunzel's tower from Tangled for the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival 2011, promoting the upcoming home release of the animated film. The tower has windows that open and close and Rapunzel can be heard from within singing, making her hair glow, extended from a window. This video shows the display during the day and at night.

For National Engineers Week 2011, TV personality and engineer Bill Nye the Science Guy gave four presentations to fans inside Epcot's Innoventions at Walt Disney World. This is the first of the series.

The Hitchhiking Ghosts have been (temporarily?) replaced in The Haunted Mansion at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom by projected, animated, computer-generated versions of themselves, floating by. It appears, at the moment, that these are temporary replacements while the Audio-Animatronic figures behind the black projection screens are enhanced.

Mickey's Toontown Fair permanently closed on February 12, 2011 to make way for Storybook Circus. This video is a walking tour through the land, including glimpses at Mickey and Minnie's houses, Goofy's Barnstormer, Donald's Boat, Fairies meet-and-greet, and the Walt Disney World Railroad. On the evening of Jan. 18, 2011, Disney premiered the new "Magic, Memories, and You!" projection show on Cinderella Castle for attending media during a special event. The show combines guest photos with stunning, colorful, and animated projections that span the entire surface of the castle.

The Pixar Pals Countdown to Fun parade premiered at Disney's Hollywood Studios on Jan. 16, 2011, replacing Block Party Bash. Pixar characters featured in the parade include Dug, Carl, and Russell from Up, Mike, Sully, and boo from Monsters Inc, Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, Bullsye, and Lotso from Toy Story, Flik, Princess Ada, and Heimlich from A Bug's Life, Remy from Ratatouille and Mr. Incredible, Frozone, and Mrs. Incredible from The Incredibles.
