Why don't we give to God? Pastor Bob gives us 3 reasons he believes why we don't give as we should. 1. We fail to know His mercy 2. We fail to understand His reason for reasonable service 3. We fail to see it's smart to surrender to Him. We miss the benefits God has for us to receive when we fail to give as God word tells us.
Do you know what an empty promise is? It's not that the promise has no value, but over time, when promise after promise isn't kept, the value dwindles. God cannot go back on His promises, nor does He fail to keep them. And that's a promise you can count on. Learn more today, on the Active Word with Pastor Bob Coy...
Is your Christianity provoking others to want what you have? Is "taste and see that the Lord is good" the message you're portraying? There is a warning in Romans that has we could miss it. Jesus was not what the Jewish people expected. They failed to recognize their need for a Savior, and they neglected the spirit and lived by the law. They made salvation a complicated ordeal. Are we doing what the Jewish people were doing? Pastor Bob reminds us that God wants a relationship with us and that it is simple. We just have to believe on Him who He sent.
We are being warned to watch. All of Israel was not governed by God. Everyone that calls himself a Christian is not a Christian. Jesus said we will know them by their fruit.

What's your reaction in bad times? Pastor Bob takes us to Job and points out how he handled the sifting of Satan. Job did not sin or blame God. He did not let go of his integrity and he did not yield to the opinion of his friends. The importance of doctrine that is found in Romans 8:34-39 tells us that Christ is interceding for us. Like Job knows and claims; our Redeemer lives. That God loves us, and that God leads us.
