How can we argue against the pro-choice argument that that abortion is the only thing that can save the life of a mother whose life is in danger due to her pregnancy? Being that there are so many bad people coming into the world, why should we not allow abortion? I am not Catholic but I am pro-life. Is the DVD helpful for those of us who are non-Catholic? What is the best way to encourage our priest to talk about this issue from the pulpit? If Jesus gave us free will, why do we not give women free will to choose her baby? read more

In the book of Revelations when the saints are praying for us, do they pray with the act of faith? I thought we don’t need faith in heaven. I hear Orthodox Christians say that the pope did not approve the first seven ecumenical councils, and therefore ecumenical councils do need approval by a pope. Is this true? The Creed says that Jesus descended into hell. Did he really go to hell as we know it? Can you give me a reference for this? I have many non-Catholic Christian friends. How do I evangelize them without sounding pompous? read more

What is Catholic teaching on people born with chromosomal disorders and it is not clear if they are male or female? If you don’t necessarily need to be Catholic to go to Heaven, why make the effort to be Catholic at all? Can a priest offer one Mass for multiple people at the same time? Why does the Church allow exceptions to the priestly celibacy rule? Do we know anything about what the fruit was on the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, that Adam and Eve ate? Does the fruit still exist? If so, should we still not eat it? read more

John 7:19-24 - Is Christ referring to the 10 commandments here? “Has not Moses given you the law? Yet not one of you keeps the law. Why are you trying to kill me?" Based on what has recently come out on Medjugorje by the CDF, what should our view of Medjugorje be? I have heard people say the Church is too institutionalized, what is the Catholic response? read more

My Church doesn’t baptize during lent and our baby will be born around then. They said the earliest date they can do it is May 5th. I thought the Church wanted us to baptize babies as soon as possible. Can you help explain this? I am an atheist and I am baffled by how one can believe all the supernatural stuff. How do people reconcile all the angels and unseen things with everyday life? How does confessin compare or contrast to our last judgement? Can you elaborate on how our sins are forgiven after confession but we still have to pay for them in purgatory... read more
