 Episode 121 - EMP and EMP Protection Part 2 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:43:40

In this second part of the EMP series, we cover some myths, what you can do to prepare for an EMP attack, things that you should store, and how to tell if the power outage is normal, CME or EMP induced.

 Episode 120 - EMP and EMP Protection - Part 1 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:26:13

There is a very real possibility that the US could suffer from a prolong power outage caused by either an EMP attack or a large solar storm. Both of these events could happen at any time, but unlike most disasters, the effects from either of these could cause the power grid to be down for years.

Back in October 2009, Podcast Episode 44, I posed a series of questions that you can ask yourself which should give an indication on how the economy is trending.  Episode 118 - How To Make A Threat Assessment | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:15:57

There are a lot of different ways that you can make a threat assessment. Some are very complicated, but they don't need to be.  Episode 117 - What To Expect In A Crisis | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:29:06

In this podcast, I lay out another foundational aspect of preparing by going over the common things that you can expect to happen in a major disaster. Not that everything on this list occurs in every crisis, but you should go through the list and make sure that your prepared for these things. Especially mentally. Most of us have never experienced a major disaster or "war zone" and aren't prepared for the harsh reality of what follows a disastrous event.

 Episode 116 - The Urban Pack | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:29:37

Your Everyday Carry, or EDC, stuff is gear you have with you all the time. The Urban Pack goes one step further than the personal EDC by extending it to a small pack that you, essentially, carry with you everywhere. It's not intended to be a Get Home Bag, as that would be much larger. This is for "most likely events beyond everyday" type of stuff.
