Eddie Huang is a new type of restauranteur. He's been called the "Jay-Z of the NYC restaurant scene," "the new Anthony Bourdain," and Guy Fiere told him he has something special, yet his mother still emails him tirades about his failures. With no formal culinary education, he proudly holds onto the fact that he's a cook and not a chef. It's paying off. His restaurant, BaoHaus in NYC's Lower East Side, is expanding and Eddie has built a cult of personality around his blog, Tweets, and outspokenness. With a TV pilot in the works and a book deal in his back pocket, we're sure you'll be hearing more from him soon.
