Video Games - The Scotchcast

SPOILERS!! In this bonus episode of the Lincolncast for the week, instead of GDC (where not much happened), Shinboy, Commodore Jenkins and myself (selfconfessedcynic) sit down and discuss the wonderful experience which is Bioshock Infinite. Having just finished the game, we're definitely still feeling the afterglow and have a lot to say.

The Lincolncast, Episode 40 for the week of February 23rd So I'm going to level with you. I didn't get a chance to listen to this show (I wasn't on it) before putting this up. I hope you aren't sick of PS4 stuff already because whether you are or not, me and Dourin wanted to talk about the press conference held in New York City yesterday. So - strap yourselves in for a freaking 4+ hour conversation we had on skype which ended up as a complete dress-down (with notes!) of the whole conference and pretty much everything revealed therein. If you hadn't heard about this whole thing, then this is probably the number #2 place for long-form info on the event, right behind, uno, just watching an archive of it.

This week's discussion centres on the The Gathering Storm update later in February, and the straw that broke the camel's back for Thurbleton. The Lincolncast, Episode 38 for the week of February 2nd Everything is inverted this episode as we jump into Guild Wars 2 stuff first for whatever reason. So in the first third to quarter of this ep (how did it get so long?) we chat about the recent updates to Guild Wars 2, specifically dungeon, fractal and WvW changes in addition to the long awaited implementation of Guesting. After that we spend the next 2-3 hours talking about Dante's black hair, Sim City, more Primal Carnage, a bunch of Antichamber, and the impending announcement of the Playstation 4.
