This show will mainly focus on how men from the days of old rarely exist in 2014.  Back in the day, men did things simply because "that's what a man was supposed to do." That concept worked for my father, his father and so on.  It was taught to me.  Sometimes you don't need a particular reason to do certain things because "that's what a man is supposed to do." Helping a lady change a tire on her car, holding the door open for an elderly person who may be 15 seconds away from you, and things of that nature.  We do some things that may not necessarily be required of us, yet we still feel compelled.  Where did those old school men get the strength to constantly give without receiving much more than a "thank you"?  Some will say parenting.  Some will say church.  I think that it's a combination of both. Parents are a lot more liberal these days when it comes to raising their kids.  When I was growing up parenting was a one-way conversation.  Now negotiations are allowed in some homes when it comes to communicating the do's/don't's to children. Okay, Preseason is about to wrap up, but the injuries are starting to mount up.  Every morning I'm reading about Player X being lost for an extended period of time due to an injury.  Is it time to make some changes in regards to Preseason?  Not reduce the number of games because I think the physical contact is needed to "get right" for the NFL. I think it's time that they expand the roster to allow for more rookie free agents to join camp.  That will boost the teams with enough members to actually have only rookies (and veterans on the verge of not making it) play and get evaluated by the coaches in games. That would keep the vets away from harm until they played in the last Preseason game.  Would that help or hurt things?  It's hard to say, but we'll discuss it on the show. Also, regardless of if they make changes to the formats for Preseason or not, the cost of admission to Preseason has to be reduced! Its ridiculous how some stadiums (AT&T Stadium) charges full price to see an exhibition game.  What would be a fair reduction in your mind?  50% off?  25% off? This show is tailor-made for M&M.  Although we know that it's against "the code" to give "the game" away, this is a discussion that needs to be had.  There are so many strategies that women and men use to gain leverage in relationships.  Now, of course no success relationship will have someone trying to gain leverage, but that's a topic for another show. Ray Rice was suspended for abusing his now wife.  He held a press conference to apologize to the nation and tell everyone why he was wrong.  Of course that's society's way of cleaning up an image, but is it really necessary to do?  Should athletes apologize to the media?  I understand that there's a need to apologize to the victim, family, friends, team, and even the fans.  But, why do guys like Skip Bayless get so bent out of shape? Hearing guys on ESPN talking about "I'll never forgive him" is almost laughable.  Why should the player care what a media mouth thinks? Sometimes parents can take things a bit too far.  They do what they can to protect their little ones, but wind up making things much, much worse.  Kids have it hard in 2014 and although it takes a delicate approach to raising them, balance is the key.  You have to use the right amount of subtleness and the right amount of craziness to make sure your kid gets through life.  What are some of the signs that you're an overprotective parent? A lot of us pride ourselves on being responsible people.  We also want things out of life that we see other people enjoy.  A lot of us want a family, a nice job, a beautiful home, perfect spouse, the list goes on. However, none of those things come easily for everyone.  Even if you're lucky enough to achieve all of that it comes with a price: a lot of hard work and time.  It can even be overwhelming to a lot of people.  Especially when you have loved ones depending on you.   How do you manage stress? What can help you gain a perspective on what's really important? How do you reset day-after-day-after-day and face the world again?
