Recently, I heard of an incident in a church that well illustrates the relationship of prayer and power. As the organist began to play to begin a Sunday morning service, no sound of music came forth from the instrument. The time necessary for the repair was estimated and a note was sent to the pastor that read: "The power will be on after your morning prayer." Prayer indeed makes the difference between operating in man's power or God's power.
