A Prepper's Guide to Traveling Safely. Hosts Aaron and Jonathan discuss traveling as a prepper. At some point in time all of us will have to go from point A to point B. Whether the mode of transportation is trains, planes, or automobiles, it's not time to let your guard down. However, you will have to do research and get creative. Similar to EDC carry, but with caveats inherent with travel after 9/11, traveling prepared isn't hard. However, it does require planning, care, and knowledge of the laws of the area you are traveling too.

A few years ago we went through the CERT program with a group of friends after reading about it in Emergency. After completion, the consensus was everyone should do it. The lessons and skills learned are invaluable. It not only shows you what you can do to help in an emergency, but also gives participates a clearer understanding of the job and responsibilities of first responders. Just like Survival CHI, CERT starts with Community. Rather than isolationism, ITRH is all about building a community of preppers. The more people who are involved, the less people will tax the system and be able to help themselves and others in times of crisis.

Hosts Aaron and Jonathan discuss the basics of camping and camping gear. Camping is an excellent opportunity to test gear, skills, and be reminded of life without most modern conveniences. Owning the gear isn't enough. Getting out and actually using it is a must if you foresee an instance where you may be dependent on your outdoor gear. Plus, it's just darn good fun.
