What do my tarot cards mean? | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 4194

We got a great question from one of the students by e-mail about interpretations of the cards. In this episode, Anita, Iris, Sharon and I discussed how we learn to interpret the Tarot without having to memorize keywords and phrases. It is important to allow the cards to speak to you rather than forcing them to make sense! This podcast will help you to be well on your way to understanding why and how you can do that. We also talked about the difference between saying whatever pops into your head and using your intuition. Complete with examples, you'll walk away from this podcast having a much deeper understanding of the Tarot cards. I am here to make sure everyone who wants to learn the Tarot has a chance to do so. I am now offering a FREE live seminar where you can ask me your questions! Go to . . . https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/7443920599417048067 to register FREE (no gimmicks, and no spam!) and come spend some time with me on Saturdays at 12:30pm PST. I look forward to meeting everyone! And as always, I am here to help. Dusty

 Tarot card astrology (part 1) | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2805

In today's lesson, Sharon finally noticed that in the white book each card has an astrological quality. She wanted to know what the words fixed, cardinal, and mutable meant and how they apply to the Tarot. We discussed what each term means and then discussed exactly how they apply to specific cards. I showed her and Iris how to determine which cards were best for each term on their own so they could understand the true nature of the subject. Understanding the astrological sign of each card in your deck is super easy once you know how (listen to today's lesson) and it involves looking at the image and understanding what the action is that is taking place in the image. Think of this as "additional information" to add depth and rich detail to your readings. It does not replace your intuition: it enhances it. If you have any questions or would like to hear a podcast on a particular question, e-mail me at me@dustywhite.net Thanks for being here :-)

"Major" Arcana cards are your friends! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1997

Today Iris and I explored some of the reasons the Major and Minor arcana (Trumps and Pips) have been separated by tarot readers. We discussed how "the Journey of the Fool" came about and how it does not apply to everyday life and valid readings for an average client. We also explored how the trumps are made out to be so much more important than the pips. We hope this helps you become less intimidated by the major arcana by seeing how each card is as valuable as the other in its own right. Thanks for being here! We are here to show you how.

How to ask better questions so you can get better answers | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 3807

One of the biggest problems with tarot readings people get is that the clients are unsatisfied with the results they get. If they were as thrilled as we all like to think our clients are they would be coming back again and again. Repeat clients are the ONLY WAY to make a real living reading your cards and the only way to get REPEAT CLIENTS is to give them information so valuable, precise, and accurate that they come back and demand more.To get this level of detail and precision you must ask better questions. This presents the problem of knowing what makes up a great reading and what it takes to get there. Your clients have not been trained. Fortunately, you have been. Your clients have been programmed by bad movies and bad advice from non-tarot readers, and even bad readings by amateurs. They are not experts in knowing what to ask and how to get the most out of their readings. This is why we made this specific podcast.  Spend an hour with us and think about the concepts here. This is not a note-taking lesson: this is one that requires you spend some serious time contemplating the nature of your job and your interaction with your clients. If you do this: if you take some time alone (often) and really dig deeply into your interaction with your clients you will master a skill so few readers ever do—and one essential to being a god among mortals. You will learn to hear what people are saying behind their words and how to get people to open up so that you can better help them find the answers they need to their dilemmas.
