++Good Games (Double Plus Good Games) Podcast
Summary: ++Good Games is based on the concept of "Newspeak" proposed in George Orwell's book "1984." Newspeak stemmed from idea that there were simply too many words to describe the same thing. The basic concept behind Newspeak was to remove all shades of meaning from language boiling dialog down to simple dichotomies: pleasure and pain, happiness and sadness, good and evil. ++Good Games believes that the Dystopian (often post-apocalyptic) "1984″ premise is not only being used as a graphic backdrop for today’s games (Half Life 2, Bioshock, Fallout, et al) but it is also being used in the industry's game reviews system. reducing the need for deep thinking and conversation about games. This ever-expanding games industry shows no signs of slowing down. New gamers are coming onboard every day and older gamers are spreading the gamer-demographic across five (or more) decades. With iPhones, 3DS and downloadable games lowering the barrier for entry into this pastime, we are absolutely in a Golden Age of gaming.

With E3 approaching, the team at Double Plus Good Games takes time out to talk about their picks for the top 50 video games. This episode starts us off with number 50 through number 41.
With the ten titles down, Neal and Anthony begin the second leg of their momentous task to fill out the list of the 40 games that remain. In part 2 we work through number 40 through number 31.
Twenty titles lay in our wake on our quest to reveal the Top 50 picks for ++Good Games of all time. In part 3 we start at 30 and work our way down to the number 21 spot.
We're not sure if it was the margarita's or the fourth hour in the recording session, but things start to heat up as we begin our top 20. In part four we start at number 20 and work our way down to the edge of the top 10.
In this final chapter, Neal and Anthony struggle to remain dignified and personable long enough to go over their top ten double plus good games of all time.
